Right now, one of the best value TVs is on sale for a massive 57% off, and you don’t want to miss it.
For three days only, the LG 48-inch B5 4K OLED TV is on sale for $549 at Best Buy. With a $750 discount, it’s over half off and amazing value. It did sell for a smidge less on Cyber Monday ($529) but trust me, this deal is still absolutely worth picking up.
There’s no two ways about it, OLED TVs are king when it comes to picture quality and contrast. They’re also generally the most expensive category of TVs you can buy. But thanks to the LG B5 OLED, you can enjoy all the gorgeous color and contrast of an OLED without shelling out a ton of cash.
This TV’s color performance is a particular highlight; it recreates colors extremely faithfully, achieving an excellent Delta-E score of 1.65 in our tests. And since this is an OLED TV, it looks just as good no matter where you sit in the room; even at off-angles.
In our LG B5 OLED TV review we noted that movies and shows with darker color palettes were somewhat difficult to see, particularly in brightly-lit rooms. However, bright and colorful movies like “A Minecraft Movie” and “Barbie” looked perfect and caused no such problems. If you don’t mind occasionally dimming the lights in your room for movie night, you’ve got a great set on your hands here.
We currently rank last year’s LG B4 OLED as the best value OLED, but that model is getting hard to find in stock these days, so the B5 is your next-best bet.
