Spring has officially sprung, and so has the Amazon Big Spring Sale. There are a ton of heavily discounted TVs this week as part of the sales event, but unfortunately, not all of them are worth buying. I should know — my day job is to test and review TVs, and I've been doing it for over a decade.
Plenty of TVs have fallen to all-time low prices during Amazon's sales event, but trust me: You shouldn't just throw your money at the cheapest TV you can find. Instead, you're better off looking for models that blend affordability with reliable performance and useful features.
That's where I come in. I've sifted through pages of Amazon's TV listings and tossed away the deals that aren't worth shopping. Below you'll find my nine favorite TV deals on OLEDs, QLEDs and Mini-LED TVs. With each listing, I'll explain why that particular TV is worthy of consideration.
Quick Links
- Roku 55" Plus Series 4K Mini-LED TV: was $499 now $398
- Hisense 65" U65QF 4K Mini-LED TV: was $759 now $579
- Samsung 65" Q8F 4K QLED TV: was $897 now $597
- Samsung 43" The Frame 4K QLED TV: was $995 now $697

My favorite TV deals
If you're shopping the Amazon Big Spring Sale for an ultra-affordable TV with an emphasis on easy streaming, this Roku Plus Series deal has your name on it. Its modest array of Mini-LEDs allows for better contrast control than what you'll find on cheaper TVs with edge-lit displays, and thanks to its built-in Roku functionality, the Plus Series is very easy to use. This is the TV to get if you're looking for a straightforward software experience.

Looking for an affordable 65-inch TV? Hisense's entry-level Mini-LED TV is one of the most value-packed 65-inch TVs discounted during the Amazon Big Spring Sale. It's one of the brightest TVs we've tested in the entry-level Mini-LED class, which makes it a great pick for people who do a fair amount of viewing during the day. It comes with Amazon's Fire TV smart platform, which synergizes with select Alexa-integrated devices you might have at home. Simply put, the U65QF is a bright, dependable TV that won't break the bank. (It's also worth noting that the 85-inch U65QF is on sale for $847 at Amazon, too.)

This Samsung QLED serves up mid-range performance and a heaping helping of streaming- and gaming-related features. Its quantum dot-enhanced display allows for brighter, purer color than what is typically seen in garden-variety LED-based TVs, and Samsung's excellent design is on full display. Gamers stand to make the most out of the Q8F's toolbox of features, which includes support for 4K gaming at 120Hz.

This 43-inch lifestyle TV is perfect for bargain-hunters with a keen eye for interior design. Samsung's The Frame is a quantum dot-enhanced TV designed to hang on a wall like a portrait, and in recent years, its elegant, thoughtful design has proven immensely popular with our readers. The price of the 43-inch version has crashed all the way down to $697 during Amazon's Big Spring Sale, and this deal includes a customizable white bezel.

For several months, the TCL QM6K has been one of my go-to recommendations for folks looking for a big screen on a budget. The 75-inch version is perfect for folks who want to upgrade to a good-looking, big-screen TV without spending too much, as Amazon has knocked about $200 off its usual price as part of the Big Spring Sale. The inclusion of Mini-LEDs is why the QM6K delivers higher brightness and better overall contrast than TVs with more rudimentary display types. It also arrives with Google TV and a handful of useful gaming features, including support for 4K gaming at 120Hz or 144Hz.

The Hisense U8QG is one of the brightest TVs we've ever tested, but that's not the only trick up its sleeve. It's also packed with features for gaming and beyond. And, if you're an A/V enthusiast who values picture accuracy, you're sure to appreciate how well-tuned the U8QG is right out of the box. During Amazon's Big Spring Sale, the 65-inch version of the U8QG is over $650 off its usual price.

Samsung's entry-level OLED may not be as much of a showstopper as the brand's flagship-level OLED TVs, but it's still offers all of the benefits we've come to expect from this incredible display technology, including perfect black levels and pixel-level dimming. It also comes with a useful array of gaming enhancements and streaming features.

The Hisense U75QG is a great choice for folks looking to upgrade their living room on a budget, and it's an especially good option for people looking for a huge screen. Right now, the 85-inch version of the U75QG is at its lowest price ever for Amazon's Big Spring Sale. It's a better-performing TV than most entry-level TVs thanks to its Mini-LED backlighting, and it offers many of the same features as higher-end TVs (like the aforementioned U8QG).

Samsung's top-shelf OLED is the best-performing TV in Amazon's Big Spring Sale. The S95F offers better color volume and higher highlight brightness than what you'll find on mid-range OLED TVs, and as a flagship model, you're also getting just about every gaming feature under the sun.
