Samsung's Galaxy Z line of foldable phones are among the best foldable phones we've tested. They're known for being sturdy, incredibly powerful, and fun to use. Samsung just released its Galaxy Z lineup for 2026 and it consists of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra for $2,099, Galaxy Z Fold 8 for $1,899, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 for $1,199.

Preorder deals are already live and one carrier is taking the lead when it comes to discounts. Right now, you can get the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for free or up to $1,100 off the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra at T-Mobile. Alternatively, you can get up to $1,100 off the Galaxy Z Flip 8. All of these offers require a trade-in and you must also sign up for the carrier's Experience More or Experience Beyond plans. Nevertheless, they're the most aggressive discounts I've seen so far.

It loses the telephoto zoom, but multitasking is way more suitable on its canvas, with up to four apps running simultaneously.

T-Mobile is offering various Galaxy Z Flip 8 deals. You can get the phone for $1,100 off with trade-in and when you add a line on T-Mobile's Experience More or Experience Beyond plans. Or get it for $500 off with trade-in on most other data plans. The flip phone features a 6.9-inch AMOLED (1080 x 2520) inner display w/ 120Hz refresh, 4.1-inch AMOLED (948 x 1048) outer display w/ 120Hz refresh, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. You also get 50MP f/1.8 main and 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide rear cameras and a 10MP f2.2 selfie cam. In our Galaxy Z Flip 8 hands-on, we said it's Samsung's sleekest and most refined flip phone to date, but not a necessary upgrade for current Z Flip 7 owners.
