There are hundreds of mattresses on sale this week — these are the 7 deals actually worth shopping, from $149
Fatigued by the endless cycle of Prime Day and extended 4th of July mattress sales? These are the 7 deals I'd snap up in a heartbeat...

Prime Day landing so soon after the 4th of July sales means we've been drowning in mattress sales for weeks. If you're trying to buy a new bed but are fatigued by the sheer mass of sales coming at you on a daily basis, I can help. I track sleep deals month in, month out, and in my opinion there are really only 7 worth browsing right now – and I've rounded them up right here.
One of these standout 'better-than-Black Friday' bargains is the Siena Memory Foam Mattress, one of the top recommended options in our best mattress of 2025 guide. Today a queen Siena is down to $278 (was $359) at Amazon – that's the cheapest price I've seen it go for. The Siena is an excellent option for guest rooms and dorm beds, with a twin priced $149 (was $199) thanks to 25% off.
Here are the six other great mattress sales I recommend this week...
- View Prime Day bed deals at Amazon – from $83
- View the Prime Time sale at Mattress Firm – from $130
- View the latest mattress savings at Walmart – from $54
1. Siena Memory Foam Mattress: twin was $199 now $149 at Amazon
Siena usually holds a regular 605 off sale that freezes a queen Memory Foam at $359, but there's an even cheaper deal on this budget all-foam bed over at Amazon. The retail giant's deal takes queen to $278 (and comes with a 180-night trial, 10-year warranty and free shipping), which is much cheaper than Black Friday’s $340 queen deal. We named the Siena as the best cheap mattress as our testers for the Siena Memory Foam Mattress review were blown away by the support and value of money the bed provides.
2. Saatva Classic Mattress: twin was $1,399 now $999 at Saatva
We think the Saatva Classic is the best hybrid mattress you can buy for a multitude of reasons, from its customizable comfort (it comes in three feels) to its high-quality materials. It's one of the comfiest luxury beds on the market and achieved a full 5/5 score in our Saatva Classic mattress review during a recent retesting. The great news is it's now $400 off all sizes when you use our link above. A queen is now $1,699 (was $2,099), and you'll also get a lifetime warranty, a year-long sleep trial, and free mattress installation and old bed removal.
3. Siena 8” Essential Mattress: twin was $149 now $119 at Amazon
While the Siena Memory Foam Mattress is our top deal, the Siena Essential shouldn't be overlooked either. The brand's cheapest (and thinnest) offering is perfect for guest rooms as a queen is only $179 (was $279) at Amazon (Siena is still selling a queen for $279) and you'll still get Siena's 180 night sleep trial and a 10-year warranty, too.
4. Allswell Organic 12" Mattress: twin was $577 now $298 at Allswell
The best organic mattresses do not come cheap, so the Allswell Organic is a remarkable find even when it's not on sale. While we have yet to test this budget buy, we've looked at the GOTS Certified design and we are impressed. And at just $558 for a queen, it's a steal.
5. Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid Mattress: twin was $932 now $652.40 at Brooklyn Bedding
As we say in our Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid mattress review this newcomer provided effective specialist cooling with a luxury feel, all while supporting combi sleepers, making it a top rated option in our best cooling mattress guide. Brooklyn Bedding is offering 30% with code FLASH30, a discount they only ever roll out for big sales events and federal holidays, reducing a queen to $932.40 (was $1,332). You'll also get a 120-night sleep trial, and a lifetime warranty, and free shipping.
6. Helix Midnight Luxe Mattress: twin was $1,436 now $1,048 at Helix with code TOM27
The Helix Midnight Luxe is our No 1 pick in our guide to the best mattress for side sleepers, and you can now get a 27% off deal with our exclusive discount code TOMS27, taking a queen Helix Midnight Luxe from $2,398.66 to $1,751.03. This is a great exclusive deal that will save you more than the current non-exclusive 25% sale and the regular 20% sale. A 100-night sleep trial and lifetime limited warranty is also included.
7. Leesa Studio Mattress: twin was $549 now $384 at Leesa
Leesa's more affordable bed, the Studio, just got cheaper thanks to a 30% discount that overtakes the brand's standard 20%-25% sales. This takes a queen to $559 (down from $77), which is just outside cheap mattress territory. We tried the budget-friendly mattress in our Leesa Studio mattress hand-on review, and found the mattress to deliver the same soothing relief you'd find in more expensive, luxury mattresses. Plus, you'll get a 100 nights to try it for yourself.
Do mattress sales happen in the summer?
While a lot of people think that bargain-hunting for mattresses should only be limited to the big five sales — Presidents' Day sales in February, Memorial Day sales in May, Labor Day in September, and Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in November and December — which all occur outside of summertime, great discounts can be found throughout the summer months.
Amazon Prime Week is bring us some great deals on bargain beds and brand-name mattresses alike. Also, the early Labor Day mattress sales usually start around August, with some brands offering the same Labor Day discount in August and September.
In short, the best time to buy a mattress depends on how strategic you are when summer shopping.
Where to find good mattress sales
Brands such as Saatva, Helix, and Brooklyn Bedding tend to offer discounts that are actually better than their run-of-the-mill sales. You'll know when you're looking at the better Saatva mattress sales when you see a $400 off discount (this deal is better for the cheaper Saatva models) or a 15% off sale (better if you want to buy a more expensive Saatva mattress).
Meanwhile, Helix mattress sales can offer some great savings, while Brooklyn Bedding bring out their 30% off sales during big sales events. Amazon can also surprise with generous flash deals on some of the top-selling Amazon mattresses (which include big brands such as Nectar and DreamCloud).
