Today Arlo announced a new lineup of smart home security cameras that have AI-powered features in order to assist users in receiving the best possible alerts. All the new models across the Arlo range from the Essential, Pro and Ultra series will have informative and actionable alerts to keep owners informed efficiently.

The full suite of new smart home security cameras from Arlo are easy to install, and are able to be mounted in a variety of either indoor or outdoor locations. The Arlo Secure plans (starting at $7.99/month) provide an additional layer of protection with personalized, actionable alerts that can be focused on key areas of the home like the front gate or driveway. This could allow for quick responses to potential emergencies while ignoring areas of lesser importance.

Additionally, the app will provide more details with animated previews, and let users act with a single tap from the lock screen if they notice anything amiss. The cameras themselves are capable of covering a wide field of view with a 360 degree pan and a 180 degree tilt to cover many angles and details in clear video day or night.

Other features include Automatic Motion Tracking which allows the camera to track and follow people and animals to capture activity within the field of view once motion is detected; dual band WiFi support that automatically recognizes and switches to the strongest WiFi connection, a privacy mode to disable the audio and video, night vision, two-way audio with noise cancelling, an integrated siren and integrated spotlight and weather resistance.

The lineup ranges from the all new Essential Pan Tilt cameras, available for pre-order, and starting at $35, to the Essential Cameras that feature the new AI features and run from $25 to $80. The Pro series are intended for outdoor use, have package notifications, and are $125 to $200. The Ultra series is the most advanced of Arlo’s line up and features a rechargeable battery, at $200.

All are available at either Arlo.com or Amazon.
