My favorite grills are finally on sale for Prime Day — and one deal starts under $500
Give your kitchen a vacation
Now that it's summer, my indoor kitchen is closed for business. I'm cooking 99% of my meals outside, primarily on a combination of grills and griddles. I've tested nearly a dozen of these outdoor appliances over the past year, and I was excited to see that some of my favorites are marked down thanks to Prime Day deals.
What I love about my sale picks is that they're all suited for both outdoor cooking enthusiasts and beginners to the world of barbecue. For example, the Weber Spirit E-325 now starts at $499, and while one of the easiest grills to use, it features a sear zone to deliver restaurant-worthy grill marks on steaks and burgers.
You can find best-selling models up to 40% off at Amazon during Prime Day, and the best part? If you order fast, you can get it in time for your Fourth of July gathering. Not to be dramatic, but there's nothing quite like firing up a brand-new grill for a backyard gathering. If you've been waiting for an excuse to upgrade, these Prime Day deals are it.
Meet your grilling expert

When I'm not grilling, I'm probably thinking about it. I'm obsessed with both barbecue and hosting, which means my outdoor appliances get a lot of use. That means I can tell you which grills, griddles and smokers are actually worth it. Need more credentials? Check out the St. Louis ribs I cheffed up over the weekend.

My favorite Prime Day grill deals
If someone asked me for the most foolproof grill that'll last for years to come, I'd tell them to get the Weber Spirit E-325. It's small-space friendly, consistent when it comes to heat distribution, but the sear zone takes the experience to a new level. Pair it with some Weber Works accessories and this tiny-but-mighty grill will become your favorite thing in your backyard.
Second to a traditional grill, I couldn't live without a griddle anymore. Traeger's 2-Zone Flat Top Griddle has a much higher quality design than other griddles at this price, maintains even heating and makes a mean smashburger. Take my word for it, once you go griddle, you never go back.
If you've only used a classic propane grill but are curious about the world of smoking, the Ninja FlexFlame is the best of both worlds. It's propane powered, but you can optionally use the pellet box to kiss your food with smokey flavor. It's extremely beginner-friendly and compatible with a massive collection of accessories including a pizza stone and griddle top. It's easily the most versatile grill I've ever tested.
