As we said in our Turtle Beach Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded review, this updated controller improves on its predecessor by introducing Hall Effect thumbsticks and triggers with five stop switches. These are extremely responsive, as are the four on-the-fly customizable back buttons. Adding Hall Effect thumbsticks is a huge win, as those sticks aren’t as susceptible to stick drift—something you don’t want on such an expensive controller.
The BFG Reloaded is a chunky controller with textured hand grips that make it comfortable to hold and prevent it from easily slipping from your hands. While the controller is slightly on the bigger and heavier side, its size and heft make it feel like a truly premium item. I’ve been able to use it for long gaming sessions without my hands ever tiring.
This is one of the most customizable controllers you’ll find. It features 11 interchangeable components, making it great for all genres. If you’re a fighting game fan like I am, you’ll appreciate that you can swap the four face buttons and right thumbstick for a six-button module that’s perfect for playing the likes of Street Fighter 6. The different D-pad options also give you more versatility in the games you’re playing.
The Turtle Beach Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded is the very definition of a “Pro” controller, and this $30 discount makes it even more tempting. This deal lasts until January 14 of next year, but stock might run out before then.
