Stop waiting: Buying a GPU in 2026 will cost you more — here are the Nvidia, AMD and Intel deals to grab now
The GPU price hikes are upon us. The RAM pricing crisis will see costs skyrocket for phones, tablets, laptops and, most importantly for PC gamers, graphics cards. But not just yet, as there's still savings to be made on the latest from Nvidia, AMD and Intel.
To think GPU prices will be higher than what they've already been, with surges on Team Green and Team Red's cards going well past their official pricing, is nearly laughable. But AMD and Nvidia are already signaling price hikes for their GPUs, thanks to RAM and SSDs looking to be a premium, and this could be by at least 10%.
In light of this, I've found the GPU deals that are either at MSRP or lower, all to save you more in the long run before the inevitable price hike affects us all. That includes the incredibly low-cost Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 for just $209 at Amazon right now, along with the impressive AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT for $599 at MSRP.
The more VRAM a GPU has, the more expensive it'll get, so if you've got your eye on one of the best GPUs around, with a jam-packed graphics card like the RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, you'll want to land one before the holidays.

This saving takes the mini RTX 5050 down below its retail price. This 8GB card is good enough for 1080p gaming, and at this current price, it's a better buy.

Probably the lowest price you'll find on an Intel Arc B580 GPU, now that it's over $100 off (and $20 below its MSRP). With 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM, this affordable graphics card will breeze through 1080p gaming and offer good 1440p gaming, too.

The budget GPU killer is back down to MSRP after this $20 saving — Intel's Arc B580 is plentiful in video memory and packs solid 1080p and 1440p gaming performance.

At $300, the RTX 5060 wouldn't be something I recommend. But $20 below MSRP is a different scenario — this is a solid 1080p gaming card with access to DLSS 4 goodness.

Now $10 below MSRP, this AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU is well worth grabbing for speedy 1080p gameplay for under $300. That's just fine for gaming on a budget.

Now this is the RTX 5060 Ti you'll want to bag, as it comes with 16GB of GDDR7 video memory, which is more than enough to handle games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Cyberpunk 2077 and more. Expect smooth 1080/1440p gameplay, with Nvidia's multi-frame gen delivering frame rates well beyond 120 FPS.

While not quite as powerful as the XT variant, this AMD Radeon RC 9070 with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM still offers plenty of power to play through 1080p and 1440p at max settings. Even better than its $20 below official pricing.

While there's technically no discount here, Gigabyte's Windforce RTX 5070 GPU is still below Nvidia's official price, even if it's only by $10. Take what you can get, especially with a fantastic mid-range performance this RTX 5070 offers.

Another RTX 5070 GPU that's under MSRP, this time from Asus. If you're after performance across 1080p and 1440p with max settings, and even dabble with 4K, this GPU will take you there.

Hey, AMD deserves a bit of a bone. Nvidia may dominate the GPU market, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t throw some love on Team Red. With a 2460MHz clock speed and 16GB of VRAM, AMD’s top-of-the-line GPU can easily outperform either the PS5 or Xbox Series X. If you don’t need 5090/5080 speeds, the RX 970 is well worth looking at.

This upper-midrange option is my current top-rated graphics card for its stellar 1440p and 4K gaming performance and zippy speeds in creative pro workloads and AI. It's a small but important dip beneath that $749 MSRP. Make sure you use the rebate to get that discount!
