Temperatures are (hopefully) going to drop soon here in the States, and as the nights get longer, it's nice to have a great gaming laptop to amuse yourself—and I just spotted a sweet deal on a new one from Razer.

See, right now, the Razer Blade 14 is $400 off at Razer.com, no matter which configuration you order. So if you pick the entry-level RTX 5060 model, it's going to start at $1,899 instead of $2,299, but we just reviewed this model, and if you can afford it, I recommend you go for the RTX 5070 model for $2,299 instead of the usual $2,699.

Razer Blade 18 (2025): was $2,699 now $2,299 at Razer

This Razer Blade 14 (2025) gaming laptop sports the trademark 14-inch OLED 3K 120Hz display along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU, AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. It's a beast of a machine and a steal at $400 off.

I say that because the RTX 5070 model is the same one we tested for our Razer Blade 18 review, and if you read that review, you'll see charts breaking down how great it is for gaming. With DLSS enabled, this thing can run some of the best PC games ever made at good to great framerates, yet it weighs under four pounds and slides into a backpack.

Admittedly, that's not as light as your average MacBook Air, but at under an inch thick, the Razer Blade 14 is remarkably svelte for being one of the best gaming laptops we've tested so far this year. I also love that despite its small size (for a gaming laptop), you still get a full port array, including HDMI out, USB-A, USB-C, and a microSD card reader for good measure.

But I doubt you'll feel much need to connect to an external display when you see the 14-inch OLED 3K 120Hz screen on the Razer Blade 14. Our reviewer loved how good this thing looks in person, so your games, videos and day-to-day work will look amazing on this Blade.

And thanks to the aforementioned Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 and the 32GB of RAM in this model, you can count on pretty speedy performance whether you're gaming or slinging spreadsheets.

Sadly, our battery testing suggests you shouldn't expect to get more than about five hours while working and maybe 2 hours while gaming on battery. Sadly, poor battery life is par for the course with most gaming laptops. Our reviewer managed to get his to limp through an eight-hour workday without plugging in, but your mileage will vary.

I doubt you'll see this laptop this cheap again until Black Friday, so I'd snag one now if you're interested!
