Speaker, Battery Combo Does iPhone Oldschool

A brick like those old-school "mobile" phones.

Some people claim the first television character to appear with a mobile phone was Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell. Retro Cells new iPhone accessory apparently draws inspiration from the media first. The Speaker System & Charger for iPhone (and iPod) provides some additional power and audio broadcast capacity, all while turning the Apple gadget into a 90s "portable".

Directly above the iPhone recess are music playback and volume control keys, as well as a small LCD that displays the clock and menu-related functions. But while Retro Cell's product is built-in for the 3G and 4G variants of the iPhone, an audio line-jack connector also provides other audio devices direct access to the speakers. In fact, as the manufacturer claims, you can use the speaker system for your PC or laptop.

More details are available from Retro Cells' website. Pricing and availability info are available to those who directly inquire with the company.
