Video games have sometimes worn the unfortunate title of being murder simulators; but if there were ever a zombie apocalypse, we'll be glad for Valve making Left 4 Dead.
As noted in the Left 4 Dead blog: In the first two months of Left 4 Dead 2's release, 28,981,249,043 zombies have been shot, bludgeoned, chainsawed and killed.
To put that number in perspective:
- The entire population of the planet has been zombified and killed 4.26 times.
- With the average height of a zombie being 6 feet, if you stacked them end to end they would circle the globe 1,322 times.
- If you placed 28,981,249,043 rulers end to end, they would reach 28,981,249,043 feet in the sky.
Come and get it! It's a running buffet! All you can eat!

I added a few thousand zombies to that number!
i put in about 150k on the first one and have put in 16k on L4D2 (COD is very distracting)

I think I'd rather see how many MILES that is into the sky, than saying "28 billion rulers is 28 billion feet" as though that tells me anything interesting. FYI, it's 5,488,873 miles, or 6% of the distance to the Sun.

and yet the game is still maddeningly addicting for some reason...

Lol, L4D2 was totally not worth the money I spent on it. Got stale faster than any other game I've ever played. Multiplayer is horrible.

Is there any way to prevent being votekicked randomly out of games? I feel like I wasted money on this game since I can be playing normal and then stupid people vote kick me out. And it sucks that the key gets registered to your steam account so you can't just resell the game.
