4. Performance Benchmarks

Mobile Mark 2007

The true test of a mobile device for road warriors is usually all about how long you can go before you need to find an outlet to plug into. The T2010 Lifebook has fantastic mobile life with our tests showing four hours and 55 minutes on the DVD score (which is almost long enough for the special edition of “Lord Of The Rings: Return of the King”).

At 6:09, the productivity score is also staggeringly high and certainly exceeds the battery lifespan of most other notebooks we’ve tested this entire year.

Mobile Mark 2007
Productivity Battery Life 6:09:00 (hrs/mins/secs)
Productivity Score 98
DVD 4:55:00 (hrs/mins/secs)

SYSMark 2007 and 3D Studio Max 8

The SYSmark scores for the T2010 were respectable, especially considering this convertible only has an Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 running at 1.2 GHz. In fact the scores compare very favorably against notebooks with fast chips such as the Intel Core 2 Duo T7600 2.33-GHz powered Durabook D14 TY-TK reviewed here>http://www.tomsguide.com/us/2007/05/30/can_we_break_a_durabook/page5.html.

Audio Compression

The T2010 is not a processing monster, though its computing power is not too shabby, either.
