Cost: Basic fantasy football is free. The premium version (called League Manager) costs money, but NFL.com offers a 14-day free trial.

Features: Fans can access the latest fantasy news, official player and team statistics, exclusive NFL.com weekly Fantasy Blog and analysis by NFL.com fantasy expert Michael Fabiano. Offers exclusive game video highlights and NFL footage, an updated inactive list and injury reports.

Updates: This season, fans will be able to manage their NFL.com fantasy teams from their mobile devices. Fans who visit NFL.com on their mobile phone and select “fantasy” will be able to set lineups, check scores, add/drop players, access player news and view live scoring of fantasy teams from anywhere and at any time.

Also, there’s an accompanying magazine: NFL.com’s "Fantasy Football 2008 Preview" offers 160 pages of in-depth, position-by-position scouting reports, depth charts, draft cheat sheets, mock drafts, statistics and articles. (The magazine is available at newsstands and NFLShop.com.) NFL.com also recently added two new quick-and-easy fantasy games for players of all levels: "NFL Touchdown Challenge" and "NFL Playbook Challenge," presented by Diet Pepsi Max.

Aren't they using their hand here? I guess that is called handball then? But oh, handball is played without protection, so what is this?

Viva BloodBowl - way cooler than this thing ... and I played it more than 10 years ago already.
What's the point of american football if you't kill your opponents and bribe the referee? It does need some sence of realism, and bribes and fouls are the cornerstones of reallife sports ....
