German federal criminal police has made a spectacular find on a suspiciously unsuspicious USB memory stick.
Among the 141 files stored on the drive owned by alleged al-Quaeda member Maqsood Lodin, investigators found secret documents wrapped into a porn movie "KickAss" located in an encrypted folder with the name "SexyTanja".
According to a report by German newspaper Die Zeit, the movie contained documents with the file names Lessons Learnt, Future Works and Report on Operations. Officials stated the files included "surprising details", including self-valuations, ideas for terror plots in the West, and statements on al-Queda's status. There are suggestions to take over a cruise ship, and there are critical notes that financial resources are "weak". Investigators believe that the information dates back to 2008 or 2009, but they still consider them as important puzzle pieces to estimate the strength of the terror network.
So, how did investigators get the idea to look for hidden files in a porn video? Perhaps it was the fact that the 22-year old Austrian, who was traveling from Pakistan to Germany via Hungary, was carrying the drive as well as other memory cards in his underpants.

These questions should be asked don't you think? For these documents always seem to turn up at certain times, in advance of certain military/economic/corporate incentives or big disasters. I really hope I'm wrong.

p.p.s. I doubt very much people would be looking in his pants or even get near him had he crossed the Mexican border into the USA.
