Pioneer has landed OEM orders for Blu-ray Disc (BD) Combo drives from Hewlett-Packard (HP) with shipments to begin in July 2008, according to industry sources in Taiwan. International PC vendors originally preferred BD-ROM drives to BD Combo drives because of much lower costs, the sources indicated.
