Airports Scramble To Change Security Codes After Pilot Loses Laptop

Washington DC - 17 airports were forced to change their security codes after a Mesa Airlines pilot had his laptop stolen. The unidentified pilot apparently placed the laptop in an overhead bin on a flight from Birmingham Alabama to Dulles International.

It’s unknown when the theft happened, but Mesa informed the TSA on April 17th. The laptop contained security codes that would have given anyone access through security gates and the ground level under the planes at 17 airports including the busy Atlanta, Chicago O’Hare and Dulles airports.
