Lego Millennium Falcon Black Friday deal is here — and it's better than Prime Day
This is a Black Friday deal that should have Lego fans really chuffed. The Lego Millennium Falcon UCS set is now on sale for £525 at Argos, a saving of £210 over its regular price — and cheaper than the set was on Prime Day. While it's still not cheap, it definitely makes it more affordable to scruffy-looking nerf herders.
This deal takes £210 off one of Lego's biggest and most iconic Star Wars sets. It's the lowest price we've seen yet
The Lego Millennium Falcon UCS set has been around for nearly a decade, but that hasn't diminished its popularity. This massive set contains more than 7,500 pieces, and measures 21cm high, 84cm long and 60cm wide.
Along with the Falcon itself, you get a freighter's worth of minifigures: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO, plus Older Han Solo (from Episode VII), Rey, Finn and BB-8. Sorry Lando: you shouldn't have lost that Sabaac game.
The set also comes with two radar dishes: the circular dish from the original trilogy, and the rectangular dish that was fitted to the Falcon in Episode VII.
However, if you've lost your winnings betting against Sebulba's pod racer, there is a less expensive Falcon model that's also on sale.
The Lego Dark Falcon has 1579 pieces and comes with six minifigures: Darth Jar Jar, Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Rey, Beach Luke and Jedi Vader.
In an alternate universe where good is evil and evil is good, the Dark Falcon imagines what if Jar Jar orchestrated the fall of the Republic? Despite its smaller size, the Dark Falcon opens to reveal playable areas, including a throne for Darth Jar Jar, a command center, hyperdrive, bunk beds, entertainment area and a jail cell. Being bad has never been so good.
