Emma Hybrid Airgrid Mattress: single was £669 now £468.30 at Emma
This hybrid mattress earned four out of five stars in our Emma Hybrid Airgrid Mattress review. After sleeping on this mattress, we found that it was best suited for side-sleepers. That's because it offers a high level of pressure relief in the hips, shoulders, and knees. However, it could be a touch too soft for stomach sleepers. Right now, in Emma's Black Friday sales, a single is down to £468.30 (was £669) and a double is £699.30 (was £999). You'll also get a 200-night sleep trial and a ten year warranty.

Is this mattress right for you?
If you're a hot sleeper looking to switch to a cooling mattress, then yes. We slept on this mattress and can attest that it does, in fact, sleep cool. That's thanks to its AirGrid Technology layer, which are flexible cooling pockets that help boost overall airflow and contour to your body while you sleep.
We also found that this mattress offered enough support for average weight back sleepers, but overall think that side sleepers will find it the most comfortable. As a hybrid, there's enough bounce, making it easy to shift around in different positions, and gives you a weightless sort of feel.
One thing to note is that it does have an initial strong 'off-gassing' smell, something that can happen to even the best mattresses in a box. Our tester said it took a full day with the window cracked for the smell to completely leave, but then it was gone.

Simba Hybrid Pro Mattress: single was £799 now £599.25 at Simba
Right now, you can save up to £351 when buying the Simba Hybrid Pro Mattress, which brings a double down to £899.25 from £1,199. While we haven't tested the Pro version, we have tested the Simba Hybrid Mattress and gave it an impressed 4/5 stars, thanks to its excellent all-round performance. The Pro mattress also looks to be a great for couples who bed share, due to the layer of microsprings that work to dampen movement. Plus, a cool touch cover and steel support core should make it a sturdy and breathable choice.
