The laser hair removal device I use for vacation season just hit its lowest price ever for Amazon Prime Day
IPL on a serious budget
It's no secret that laser hair removal is one of the most expensive methods of hair removal out there... but is it? The one-time cost is higher than buying your $10 razors at the store, but when you add it up over time, you'll actually save money.
That's not to mention the time you'll save contorting yourself into different angles as you try to shave in the shower. That's why I've been using the Ulike Air 10 IPL device to stay hair-free for months at a time.
The Ulike Air 10 has just hit its lowest ever price of $244 for Amazon Prime Day, making it over $100 cheaper than usual — that's a steal!
The ULike Air 10 provides a cost-effective, pain-free at-home IPL method for lasting hair removal, delivering results similar to professional laser treatment. I saw noticeable results in just three weeks of consistent use. But note that IPL is ineffective on light hair and unsuitable for dark skin tones.
For any IPL newbies out there, the device stops hair growth by using light pulses. These pulses target hair melanin and inhibit growth from the root. When the melanin absorbs the light, it's converted to heat energy, disabling the follicle.
This means when the hair eventually grows back, it’s slower and thinner, before completely stopping with continued use over time. It's completely changed my self-care routine and has even reduced the number of ingrown hairs I deal with when I do shave.
But there are some limitations. It won't work on dark skin tones or light hair because the process relies on light absorption, so it's worth doing a little research to make sure IPL is the right option for you.
