I’ve seen Ninja's tumbler blender all over TikTok for months — and it's finally landed in Australia
Meet the BlendBoss
Straight off the back of the recent Slushi Max launch down under, Ninja has welcomed another viral portable into its Aussie arsenal.
Introducing the Ninja BlendBoss — the brand's first-ever tumbler blender that you can take on the go. You can crush and blend your favourite ingredients, detach the base and sip with the matching lid for the ultimate portability. With more people prioritising wellness and self-care, it's the perfect product for leading a healthy lifestyle and all-around convenience.
Better yet, it comes in some seriously delicious-sounding colourways, and an equally attractive price tag. Available at Ninja direct, and retailers like Amazon and The Good Guys, the Blendboss retails at AU$199.99, and comes with a powerful 1,100W motor base, 760ml large tumbler, a specialised crush blade and a chug & straw lid.
The Ninja BlendBoss is a sleek, smart, and powerful appliance for enjoying blended drinks on the go. Simply pop in your ingredients to blend, then detach the tumbler from its base to carry it around. With a 1,100W motor, it's more than capable of crushing your favourite smoothie mix, including ice.
Also available at:
• The Good Guys for AU$199
• Amazon for AU$190
Now, I can see what you're thinking — yes, AU$199.99 is a bit much for any blender, let alone a portable one and in most cases, I'd agree, but in the case of the BlendBoss, IMHO, its RRP is a bargain. In terms of functionality, the BlendBoss combines the need for a cup post-blender (or tumbler, in this instance) with a powerful base that can mix almost any ingredient.
In our Ninja BlendBoss review, our Homes editor, Millie, gave it 4.5 stars, attributing it to the pitcher's portability. In her words, "it's hard to fault performance" as it aced every performance test she put it through. Not to mention, the BlendBoss is very cute and easy on the eyes, making it a surefire hit for those with colourful appliances or thousands of emotional support drink bottles (myself included). Plus, it fits in most cup holders, so it's ideal for carting to the gym, work, sporting games or anywhere in between if you (or your kids) are reguarly in the car.
Speaking of cute colours, it would be remiss of me not to mention the fabulously fruity names that Ninja has crafted for the BlendBoss.. The colours include: Cyberspace, Blue Raspberry, Watermelon Bubble Gum, Lavender Lemonade and Stone Mint. My personal pick would be Blue Raspberry, which has a blue motor and a green tumbler base, and is somewhat reminiscent of blue spirulina smoothies I used to make during my short-lived 2021 fitness kick.
Oh, and if you're worried about clean up, fret not — all of the BlendBoss' parts are dishwasher safe, so you can chuck it on the top shelf once you've finished your blended beverage.
