4. LIVE: Latest updates

Nintendo Switch 2 continues to be a tricky console to buy. Retailers are sold out and the sporadic restocks are being snapped up in minutes when they appear.

The hybrid console launched earlier this month (on June 5) and hasn't been consistently available since then. Restocks have happened every now and then; most recently, Walmart dropped fresh units earlier this week (June 25), with a 1-hour priority window available exclusively to Walmart+ members.

Over in the U.K., the console's been much easier to get hold of, with restocks lasting hours if not days at a time. The My Nintendo store just had some in not long ago, and Smyths is expecting more units "in July 2025." Chances are, hopeful Switch 2 shoppers in the U.K. will be able to buy one soon, if they haven't already.

The Nintendo Switch 2 costs $449 / £395 standalone or $499 / £429 bundled with a copy of the popular launch game, Mario Kart World. In this live blog, we'll help you secure a console at base price rather than having to turn to a reseller charging an eye-watering markup (we've seen some ask for $700+).

Here at Tom's Guide, we've got a team of restock experts who have been helping readers purchase hard-to-find tech items for more than five years. So, if you've got a Switch 2 on your shopping list, stick with us as we continue to bring you all the latest updates and all the key retailer links you need to secure yours ASAP.

Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle: $498.50 at Amazon

After being absent from the Switch 2 pre-order phase, Amazon U.S. launched a Nintendo Switch 2 listing page last week. But in a very strange move, it's now taken it down again, so at present there are no signs of Switch 2 stock at Amazon U.S. Over in the U.K., the mega retailer has been stocking Switch 2 for weeks and restocked often.

Weekend retailer sweep

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

It's been fairly quiet on the Switch 2 front this weekend. Some Targets seem to have stock in-person depending on your area (one in Chicago near me has precisely one unit left for sale, according to Target's website). But otherwise we're seeing "sold out" signs across the board.

Here are all the retailer links if you're interested in checking for yourself:

Walmart restock rumored for mid-July

Walmart

Weekend editor Alyse here, taking over to keep you updated about all the latest news around Switch 2 stock.

The Shortcut claims that Walmart should restock around the middle of July, based on its historical timing, which could coincide with the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9. As with last week's batch of Switch 2 consoles, you'll need a Walmart Plus subscription to snag one within the first hour it goes live.

Last retailer sweep for today

Alright, before we roll into the weekend, I'm taking one more look around the big retailers to see if anyone has any stock.

This late in the day, I doubt it, but just in case.

Since the Wednesday restock at Walmart came and went, it's been fairly quiet.

I will note that you can add a Switch 2 to your cart at New Egg, but like Walmart, it appears third party sellers are jacking up the prices. When I did it, the price for the standalone was over $700. Save yourself the money and wait til it actually comes back in stock.

Be sure to check back with us next week when Best Buy is rumored to have in-store restock starting July 1.

Logitech says its webcams work with the Switch 2

Logitech Brio 4K Webcam

Often third-party accessories can be on par with Nintendo made products, or at the very least cheaper. Thus we e come to webcams

For those who want options outside of Nintendo's for a webcam to use with the Switch 2, today, Logitech confirmed to The Verge that all of its currently available webcams, save one, work with the new console.

Right now, the company offers 10 webcams.

Many are more expensive than the $54.99 official Nintendo camera, but you could always use it elsehwere.

The only one that doesn't work with the Switch 2 is apparently the Brio 4K.

Stock sweep

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

Things have been looking quiet for Nintendo Switch 2 stock in the U.S. since Walmart's restock on Wednesday. Next week could bring some exciting news, with Best Buy rumored to do in-store restocks on July 1. But in the meantime, the Switch 2 remains out of stock at all major retailers.

We just did a fresh sweep to make sure there weren't any new developments, but feel free to check for yourself. Maybe you'll have better luck.

Save big with the Nintendo Switch Summer Sale

If you need some fun games to pass the time while you wait for Nintendo Switch 2 restocks, you can build out your library for a fraction of the price right now. We've rounded up the best Nintendo Summer Sale deals, which include a wide selection of games at great discounts like Donkey Kong Country Returns HD or Super Mario Wonder for $49, Persona 5 Royal for $20, and more.

The only first-party Switch 2 camera

Nintendo Switch 2 Camera
Nintendo Switch 2 Camera: $54 at Walmart

One of Switch 2's new features is GameChat, and to get the most out of this new addition you'll need a Nintendo Switch 2 Camera to video chat with your friends online.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop

The Nintendo Switch 2 Camera is a good and relatively affordable official webcam for anyone who likes being seen when playing online. Its small size makes it easy to situate almost anywhere, and it delivers a sharp enough image. Though not everyone will want or need this peripheral, it’s a neat-looking device that works as advertised.

A must-own Switch 2 peripheral

Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller
Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller: $84 at Walmart

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is practically guaranteed to be the most in-demand Switch 2 accessory, and it packs a suitable upgrade over its predecessor adding a headphone jack, the new "C" button, and customizable back buttons.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller offers a more comfortable and precise way to play Switch 2 games. This is thanks to its ergonomic design and responsive buttons and joysticks. Though expensive, it’s essential for Switch 2 users who primarily play in docked mode or who just want a better controller.

No new US restocks (for now)

Nintendo Switch 2

We just did a sweep of major US retailers and came up empty. Regardless, here's a list of said retailers for your convenience. Good luck!

Bundles still in stock at Very

Nintendo Switch 2

If you're in the U.K., you can get a Switch 2 bundle with no issue at Very. The popular retailer is showing plenty of options in stock, so if you've been waiting to get one, this is the perfect time to jump a bundle and take on home

If you want to see stock at other U.K. retailers, here's the full set of links:

And for the U.S. shoppers, here are the retailers to check (as of last check, everything is out of stock):

Restock coming to Best Buy July 1

Best Buy local stock search

According to Switch 2 stock tracker Jake Randall on X, Best Buy is slated to do in-store restocks on July 1 (just a few short days away).

I checked on Best Buy's website, and there's a new widget that lets you check whether your local Best Buy store is participating. The restock will be during regular store hours, so you don't need to worry about heading out for a midnight restock (though we're sure people will camp out somewhere to get a console).

When you click on the state, you'll see a drop-down of participating stores. For Connecticut, where I'm located, there are a total of four Best Buy stores that will have Switch 2 consoles in stock on July 1.

In the meantime, here are links to the major retailers so you can keep checking for stock:

Checking the US stock again

Nintendo Switch 2 London event hands-on images

I went through all of the U.S. retailers again, just to see if anything had changed. Unfortunately, it hasn't, and the consoles are still out of stock everywhere.

You can find the links below if you want to check yourself:

Joy-Con 2 controllers in stock

Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2
Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2: $94 at Walmart

Need an extra set of Joy-Con 2 controllers for multiplayer, or just because it's always nice to have a spare? You can pick up an additional set of Joy-Con 2 at various retailers for $94.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop

I went to bat for the awesome Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller earlier, but if you prefer the Joy-Con 2s, you're also in luck. Walmart, Best Buy and GameStop still have them in stock. That's great if you want to gather friends and family for a round of multiplayer Mario Kart World.

U.K. stock sweep

Similar to the U.S., the stock situation in the U.K. is also looking quiet at most major retailers. If you want to check for yourself, I've supplied the links below.

Stock sweep

Switch 2 and Mario

Things are still looking quiet for Nintendo Switch 2 stock in the U.S. today. If you want to check out the links for yourself, here you go.

(I did find a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle in stock at Newegg, but it's extremely overpriced at $714, so I don't recommend buying it.)

This is the accessory I'd buy first

Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller
Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller: $84 at Walmart

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is practically guaranteed to be the most in-demand Switch 2 accessory, and it packs a suitable upgrade over its predecessor adding a headphone jack, the new "C" button, and customizable back buttons.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop

You don't want to own a Nintendo Switch 2 without one of these! The Joy-Con 2 controllers are great when you need to hand off a controller to a friend for a quick multiplayer session. But if you want utmost comfy feeling when playing your favorite games in docked mode, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is a must. At the moment, Walmart still has the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller in stock.

Box U.K. Nintendo Switch 2 bundle

Nintendo Switch 2 Direct

If you don't mind opting for a pricy bundle, Box has stock of the Nintendo Switch 2 right now.

For £679, you'll get a Nintendo Switch 2 console, a 256GB microSD Express Card, a Nintendo Switch 2 Camera and a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller. You also get digital copies of the Nintendo Switch 2 editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Nintendo Switch 2 + LOZ + 256GB microSD Express + Camera + Pro Controller: £679 @ Box

Switch 2 restocks are quiet (for now)

Nintendo Switch 2 London event hands-on images

There's no luck with Switch 2 restocks in the U.K. and U.S. at the moment, but there's still a chance to grab one over at EE UK.

This one has been stocked for a while, but it's based on a 24-month contract. It's £20 upfront, but then £22 per month over two years. If that suits your fancy, then you can grab a Switch 2 right now. Plus, it comes with a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

We'll keep you posted on any more restocks as they happen!

Get tournament-ready with Mario Kart World

Playing Mario Kart World with the Hori Pro Deluxe racing wheel in TV mode on a desk

If you get the chance to grab the Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle and are looking to compete with a bunch of pals, it's definitely worth getting. Yes, it drops the price of the launch game, but it also means you can hold some exciting Mario Kart World tournaments like we did.

Even if you manage to grab a Switch 2 only, you'll get plenty of fun out of Mario Kart World. If Nintendo's latest console is in your future (it's only a matter of time with these restocks), you can of course grab the launch title now!

Many bundles in stock at Walmart...

Nintendo Switch 2 bundle Walmart listing on colored background

...but many are way over original pricing. For example, there's a Nintendo Switch 2 with controller skin covers for $679, meaning you're paying $230 for extra controller skins. That ain't a good deal, especially when we've seen the $449 console alone pop back in stock a few times this week.

Another bundle includes a bunch of extra add-ons. It includes a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle, three games including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Just Dance 2025, a Switch 2 Pro Controller, a Switch 2 Camera, a pair of Joy-Con wheels and a Dream Silicone Controller Cover Skin. That's all for $799, but it's hard to tell what's included as it isn't actually listed.

Be wary of these prices and what's included, as these are from third-party sellers. Although, doing the math, the large bundle above is technically a discount with all that's included. If you're looking to grab all that, it isn't the worst shout.

Of course, if you just want a Switch 2 or with Mario Kart World, it's worth waiting to grab them at their original prices.

Kicking off with a retailer sweep

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

We had a bit of movement yesterday with much-needed U.S. restocks, including at Target and Antonline after Walmart's big drop. As you might expect, Switch 2 consoles were gone as soon as they were available — but it means restocks are happening.

After a sweep, there are some Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundles available over at Walmart, but these are overpriced (even $668 for the bundle alone) with the add-ons they include. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet out there in both the U.S. and U.K. for now, but we'll keep you posted as restocks come in!

Check the key retailers below for any the arrive:

Here are all the retailers so you can quickly scan for new Switch 2 units

Nintendo Switch and Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones on a white surface

Things remain quiet this afternoon, and after a quick sweep of all the major retailers I can't seem to find any Nintendo Switch 2 units or bundles in stock for reasonable (aka not painfully inflated) prices.

I know some U.K. retailers might be out of stock for a few weeks, but here in the U.S. I expect stores like Antonline, Best Buy and Walmart to have new Switch 2 hardware available to sell in the near future.

We'll keep updating this live blog as soon as we see new Switch 2 deals pop up, but I expect we'll take a little dinner break shortly. But if you want to have a quick skim to see if any new Switch 2 deals have popped up while I'm cooking fajitas, here's a quick list of the top Switch 2 retailers with links right to the Nintendo Switch 2 deals:

Restock alert: Switch 2 bundle back at Antonline

Switch 2 at Antonline

I admit: This bundle isn't for everyone. But if you really want a Switch 2 — or if you're planning on buying all the accessories in this bundle — then Antonline has this Switch 2 bundle available for $749. It's one of the priciest bundles I've seen, but it sold out earlier in the week and it's back in stock now.

It includes the Switch 2 standalone console, Street Fighter 6, Switch 2 Pro Controller, and Samsung's microSD Express (256GB) card.

Time for a retailer sweep...

Today is turning out to be a pretty quiet day for Switch 2 drops. Target is now sold out of in-store stock and after checking all the major retailers below, I'm seeing there's basically nothing out there at the moment.

I suspect things will remain quiet as we head into the weekend, but here are those links below if you want to check for yourself.

Nintendo eShop Summer Sale starts now...

Heads up, Nintendo fans! The Nintendo Summer Sale is officially live. Through July 9, you can save up to 70% off select Nintendo games via the Nintendo eShop. The sale includes titles like Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, and more.

Prices start as low as $3 for titles like Enter the Gungeon. Check out the full sale via the link below.

Increase your storage for less...

GameStop 256GB MicroSD Express

If you're one of the lucky few with a Switch 2 console, chances are you'll want to upgrade its storage capacity soon. There's a Nintendo-branded Samsung card you can get for $59 at stores like Best Buy and Walmart.

But it looks like GameStop also has a 256GB MicroSD Express card for $54 you can get. (It's even cheaper if you're a GameStop Pro member). It's not as cheap as the Onn MicroSD Express at Walmart, but it's still a good alternative to the Samsung card.

Switch 2 restock! Limited consoles in-store at Target

Target Store

Happy Thursday, everyone! Deals editor Louis back for another day of Switch 2 restock hunting. If you're shopping for a Switch 2, I hope you were able to score a console during last night's Walmart drop.

Otherwise, no worries! The Tom's Guide team is here to help you secure a console. Earlier we posted that Target has limited in-store stock and it looks like they still do. YMMV with this restock. For example, here in New York City I'm only seeing Switch 2 stock in the Bronx.

But check out the links below and click on that red " show in-stock store" button to find out your nearest Target with Switch 2.

U.K. readers can pre-order Switch 2s at Ebuyer.com

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

I'm throwing another retailer into the mix for U.K. shoppers here, as Ebuyer.com is currently taking pre-orders for both the standalone Switch 2 system and the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle.

These pre-orders are best suited for fans who won't mind waiting a little longer for their new purchases, as the product pages on Ebuyer.com say they're "expecting" Switch 2s on Wednesday, July 30.

Importantly, the site's product description notes that they "cannot guarantee an exact date for pre-order stock availability," while also adding that orders "will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis as stock arrives."

Antonline *may* have a Switch 2 bundle available

The Nintendo Switch 2 propped up on a kitchen table

(Image credit: Stephen Lambrechts / Tom's Guide)

While I did a stock sweep and wasn't seeing anything available at Antonline (after they restocked yesterday), a TG colleague has pointed out to me he was seeing this $750 Switch 2 bundle available to add to cart.

There's a big caveat here, though: this is not the cheapest way to get your hands on the console alone, as it bundles extra Joy-Cons, a 256GB Samsung microSD Express Card, a Switch 2 Pro Controller and Street Fighter 6 Year 1-2 Fighters Edition in with the system (and doesn't come Mario Kart World).

To be clear, it's not like this is an overpriced bundle, as such. Picking up the console ($450), Street Fighter ($60), the extra storage ($60), the pro controller ($85) and the spare Joy-Con 2 controllers ($95) individually would set you back $750... but if you don't need/want all those extras, I would suggest waiting until a standalone Switch 2 unit or the $499 Mario Kart World bundle is restocked online or in a store near you.

UK: Smyths expecting stock in 'July 2025'

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

Doubling back over the U.K. lists, I noticed that, while nowhere seems to have Switch 2s in stock right now, it seems like some could be inbound soon.

At the time of writing this post, Smyths' website says fresh Nintendo Switch 2 units are "Expected in Stock" in July 2025.

Granted, an entire month isn't exactly a precise Switch 2 stock window to work with, but it's at least a comfort to know that the retailer is expecting more units soon. Maybe that means other stores will have stock in the coming weeks, too?

FYI: This "expected in stock" message was showing for both the standalone model and the Mario Kart World Bundle.

U.K. stock sweep

Switch 2

Unfortunately, following yesterday evening's stock run, it looks to be a pretty quiet day for would-be Switch 2 purchasers.

We already did a quick sweep in the U.S. this morning and spotted a very limited number of units available at Target, so I've done a similar sweep across U.K. retailers, though I'm not seeing consoles available across the pond.

If you'd like to check for yourself, just to see if we've missed anything, you can click through to plenty of Switch 2 stockists below just to see if we've missed anything:

Limited Nintendo Switch 2 stock at Target

Another small ray of hope for Nintendo Switch 2 shoppers comes from Target. Right now I can see extremely limited stock available at a couple of Target stores, so check the links and see if there's one nearby you can get to and pick up a console.

Best Buy gaming event

The Nintendo Switch 2 is still out of stock at Best Buy, but there's a potential opportunity for shoppers to get their hands on the console this weekend. GameTruck theatres will be visiting certain Best Buy stores across the country, with Nintendo Switch 2 consoles to try out inside. Check out the times and locations on Best Buy's website.

Best Buy even says that "participating Best Buy stores may have limited Nintendo Switch 2 inventory for purchase" during the events.

EE U.K. 24 month bundle

Nintendo Switch 2 displaying Mario Kart World

(Image credit: Future / Tom's Guide)

Over in the U.K., it looks like one of the only places to get a Nintendo Switch 2 is in EE's online store. They have a 24-month bundle that includes a Nintendo Switch 2 console, Mario Kart World, a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and 24-month EE Gamer’s and Video Data Passes. You'll end up paying more for the console in the long run this way, so I recommend waiting for the next restock if you can stand it.

Stock sweep

(Image credit: Stephen Lambrechts / Tom's Guide)

Good morning from the U.K.! Last night's Walmart restock is a distant memory now, as both the Nintendo Switch 2 console and Mario Kart World bundle are showing as out of stock. In fact, after a sweep of the major retailers, I can't find stock anywhere. If you want to check for yourself, see the links below.

...and it's over.

Nintendo Switch 2 displaying Mario Kart World

(Image credit: Future / Tom's Guide)

When I first posted the Switch 2 was open to everyone at Walmart, it looked like there was some stock left.

However, refreshing five minutes later and both listings are showing as Not Available or Out of Stock.

I will note that I am seeing a "Show in-stock stores" button. For my area, there are no Walmarts with Switch 2 consoles, but you might get lucky in yours, so try clicking that button to see if your local Walmart has anything.

Time for everyone else!

Alright, it's 10 p.m. Eastern, which means that non-Plus members can now purchase the Switch 2 from Walmart.

As of this posting, the Mario Kart World bundle still shows only 60% claimed.

The standalone console oscillates between 99% and out of stock. So you may just need to refresh, but stock appears low.

Mario World Bundle Best Bet

Mario Kart World

With about 15 minutes left until the Plus member exclusivity window closes, Walmart helpfully has a little tracker on the Switch 2 pages giving a rough estimate of how much stuck is left.

Right now, the standalone Switch 2 console is almost gone with 92% "of this deal is gone."

Meanwhile, the more expensive Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle only lists 60% claim.

So, if you can stomach the higher price, when the window opens up perhaps look to the Bundle before you go standalone.

It'll save you a couple bucks on Mario Kart World anyway, which is good.

Walmart allegedly has "5x more stock" than launch day

According to the X account, LBOT, Walmart has "five times as much stock for this restock as it had for launch day."

So, if the queue is too long for the Walmart+ line, perhaps give it another 30 minutes for the 10 p.m. Eastern drop when non-Plus members can hop in.

We're off: Walmart Restock!

Here we go, if you're a Walmart+ Member you should be able to purchase your Nintendo Switch 2.

Make sure you're logged in before going to the order page and have your information ready.

These things can and do go quickly.

We'll keep an eye on whether or not any stock remains when it opens up to non-members in an hour, but for now, Plus only.

One hour from the Walmart restock

Walmart Plus

We're an hour away from the Walmart restock of the Switch 2 for Walmart Plus members which kicks off at 9 p.m. ET.

This drop is for paying Walmart Plus members only, so if you're on a free trial you won't get access.

Your options are to sign up for a 1-year membership for $98/year or a monthly membership for $12.95/month.

Remember, non-members will get access at 10 p.m. ET, but there's no telling how many consoles will remain in stock. Below you'll find all the links you need.

A potential flaw, but will people notice?

With restocks slow and as we wait for the Walmart one to hit, a big story dropped about the Switch 2's LCD screen.

According to two independent tests spotted by PC Gamer, the 7.9-inch LCD display is slow with a pixel response of 33ms or 17ms depending on which study you look at. That is slower than LCD gaming monitors which can hit 11ms and more powerful OLEDs that can hit 6ms.

The first test is slower than the original Switch, which had a 21ms rate, but the second is only marginally faster.

I'm curious if the average gamer will notice. Personally, I mainly use my Switch in docked mode.

Still, paying $450 for a console with a screen that is marginally better or significantly slower than the previous iteration.

What about you, have you seen a Switch 2 display? Do you think it feels blurry or sluggish in handheld mode? Let us know.

Retailer sweep: No stock...yet

Retailers like to copy each other when it comes to console drops. However, I just did a thorough sweep and there are no Switch 2 consoles available anywhere at the moment. (Except for Antonline which has limited bundles still available). And even those are selling out fast now.

That said, we'll keep our eyes open in case another retailer decides to steal some of Walmart's thunder later this evening. Otherwise, you can check for yourself via the links below.

Antonline still has Switch 2 stock...

They're not cheap, but if you're looking for a Switch 2 bundle — Antonline still has stock of most of its bundles. The cheapest bundle they have is this one below. It includes a Switch 2, The Legend of Zelda Breadth of the Wild, Switch 2 Pro Controller, Riju amiibo, and Sidon amiibo.

Other low-cost bundles are now out of stock, so I imagine it's only a matter of time before this one sells out as well.

Get ready for tonight's Walmart drop...

Tonight's the big night! Walmart has confirmed it will have a Switch 2 restock for Walmart Plus members kicking off at 9 p.m.

Antonline has several Switch 2 bundles for sale. Again, these are pricier than even the Mario Kart World bundle, but they're worth snatching up if you were already planning on buying the bundled game.

  • Nintendo Switch 2 Console + The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Digital Bundle: $664 @ Antonline
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Digital Bundle: $699 @ Antonline
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Console + Street Fighter 6 Year 1-2 Fighters Bundle: $774 @ Antonline

Antonline finally has a Switch 2 restock!

This is not a drill! Antonline finally has Switch 2 units available. These are for pricier bundles, which is a bummer if you wanted something cheaper. But this is better than nothing, so act fast before stock runs out!

  • Nintendo Switch 2 Console + Street Fighter 6 Year 1-2 Fighters Bundle: $749 @ Antonline
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Digital Bundle: $699 @ Antonline

Still nothing...

Nintendo Switch 2

We're starting to sound like a broken record, but we've yet to see Switch 2 restocks from Antonline. Like we said in the previous post, either the restock hasn't happened yet, or it ended faster than expected. The latter wouldn't be unusual given how fast people buy up Switch 2s when they go live. We'll keep checking, though!

Antonline: Check restock

No Antonline restocks at the moment

We've been checking Antonline for the past half an hour and still haven't seen restocks. We're left wondering if the restocks haven't gone up yet or if they sold out the instant they were supposed to go live at 1:30 pm ET. Regardless, we'll keep checking!

Still waiting for Antonline Switch 2 restocks

Antonline was supposed to have Switch 2 restocks at 1:30 pm ET, but so far, the pages for both the base model and Mario Kart World bundle say "coming soon." We'll continue checking and let you know the instant restocks are live.

Antonline: Check restock

Be ready for the restock

Switch 2

If you're going to get in on the restocks today, be sure you're ready when the time comes (we're about 30 minutes from the Antonline restock). That means you have a payment method in hand and are prepared to check out. I would also recommend creating an account so your information is ready for faster checkout.

The final step is to keep your browser open on the live blog, as we'll notify you the moment the restocks begin and as soon as they sell out.

And if you're considering getting the Walmart restock later, be sure to be a paying Walmart+ member.

  • Antonline: check stock (restock at 1:30 p.m. ET)
  • Walmart: check stock (restock on June 25 @ 9 p.m. ET for Walmart+ members, 10 p.m. ET for everyone)

Two restocks today

There are two big restocks happening today. Antonline is getting consoles online at 1:30 p.m. ET. If you're working during that time and unable to get online, then Walmart has you covered at 9 p.m. ET. However, you need to be a Walmart+ member to get in at that time. If any consoles are still available, Walmart will conduct a general restock at 10 p.m. ET. If you don't have Walmart+, you can sign up here.

Here are the links for the Walmart and Antonline so you're ready to go:

  • Antonline: check stock (restock at 1:30 p.m. ET)
  • Walmart: check stock (restock on June 25 @ 9 p.m. ET for Walmart+ members, 10 p.m. ET for everyone)

We've just received word that Antonline is restocking Switch 2 consoles today at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Unfortunately, we haven't received any information about the number of units the retailer will have or the duration of the restock. However, we'll keep you updated once it goes live and notify you when the stock is depleted.

A US retailer sweep

Using a Joy-Con 2 in Mouse Mode on a desk with a docked Switch 2 console in the background

Now that we're in the mid-morning portion of the U.S. east coast's day and people are starting to wake up on the west coast, I figured this was a perfect time to dig in and check out the retailers in the United States and see if any had an unannounced Switch 2 restock (it's unlikely, but you never know).

If you'd like to check for yourself, you can find all of the links below, but from my look, none of the major retailers had consoles in stock. Disappointing, but not overly surprising.

Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller

We've had a blast using the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, and it appears to be a popular choice for many Switch 2 owners. Having a scan around multiple retailers, it appears to be out of stock, including in places such as Costco in the U.S., along with Currys and ShopTo in the U.K.

But not to worry, as it's still available to grab at other major retailers such as Best Buy and GameStop, along with Argos in the U.K. It's a more comfortable and precise way to play Switch 2 games, especially in docked mode, so we can see why it's selling out in some spots.

If you plan on gaming with a TV rather than in handheld mode, the Switch 2 Pro Controller is a good shout (especially if you need an extra gamepad to play with pals).

Here's the confirmed times for Switch 2 restock at Walmart

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

Blame it on excitement, but we seemed to have jumped the gun in the lead-up to the restock at Walmart happening today (June 25). It's kicking off at 9 p.m. ET for Walmart Plus members and 10 p.m. ET for everyone else. So, no need to be up at 9 a.m. ET, as we've previously mentioned.

Still, that leaves plenty more time to sign up for Walmart Plus, and if you haven't already, you can get a 30-day free trial.

Otherwise, we'll be keeping more restocks on our radar until the big Walmart drop!

Walmart Plus: $98/year @ Walmart

Walmart Plus: $98/year @ Walmart
Walmart Plus is a subscription service from Walmart. Priced at $98 per year (or $12.95/month on a rolling basis), it includes perks like unlimited free delivery on more than 160,000 items as well as fuel discounts at more than 2,000 Walmart and Murphy USA fuel stations. Plus, it comes with a 30-day free trial, and it'll get your early access for Nintendo Switch 2 orders.

Get ready for Switch 2 restocks at Walmart!

So far, restocks across U.S. and U.K. retailers have come up empty, so your next best chance to grab a Switch 2 is with the upcoming Walmart drop!

For Walmart Plus members, you'll get early access to pick up a Nintendo Switch 2 first, kicking off at 9 p.m. ET. It's priced at $98 per year (or $12.95/month on a rolling basis), but for those who haven't signed up before, you can start a 30-day free trial. Now's a good time to get signed up to get your hands on a Switch 2.

As we mentioned, non-members will get access at 10 p.m. ET. There's no telling how many will be in stock, so your best chance is to sign up for a Walmart Plus membership. In the meantime, stay ready.

Switch 2 now out of stock at Nintendo UK

Switch 2 console and accessories

Well, that went fast (as it usually does). The Nintendo Store is now out of stock in the U.K., but it's nice to see that the company is bringing stock in at its own online store.

If you missed that chance, there's still a bundle in stock at The Game Collection. This comes with the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle, Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, a Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, a 256GB SanDisk MicroSD card and a travel kit. This will set you back £609, and it's important to note that all of the included products aren't at a discount despite being in a bundle.

It appears there's only 1 left in stock, so act fast if you're looking for all those add-ons!

Retailer sweep — no US stock currently available

A quick look through the major U.S. retailers this morning and, sadly, I'm not seeing any new stock appearing right now.

We'll keep checking in the run up to Walmart's stock drop later today and, of course, it's always worth checking in store if you have a nearby Costco or Gamestop as they may have units available IRL.

Of course, a good strategy is to phone the store directly ahead of time so you don't make an unnecessary trip.

Nintendo UK still has stock

Switch 2 and Mario

If you're over in the U.K., then it looks like the official Nintendo store still has some stock available.

You can pick up the Switch 2 console by itself for £349 or opt for the Mario Kart World pack-in bundle for £429. You'll need to log in with your Nintendo account to add these to your basket.

Walmart set for Switch 2 restock

Walmart Plus

If you've been unable to get hold of a Switch 2 yet, then today will give you a good chance — providing you're a subscriber to Walmart Plus.

The retailer has confirmed it will be putting more Switch 2 units on sale starting at 9 PM Eastern for members. Whatever is left over by 10 pm will go on general sale but if recent stock shortages are anything to go by, I expect them to sell out very quickly.

Subscribing to Walmart Plus will cost you $12.95 but give you full early access today for the best chance of grabbing a console.

Walmart restock coming tomorrow @ 9 PM Eastern!

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

Just a quick reminder if you're on the hunt: there's a Walmart Switch 2 restock coming tomorrow on Wednesday, June 25.

The Switch 2 units are slated to go on sale starting at 9 AM Eastern for Walmart Plus members, and whatever's left over by 10 AM will become available for sale to anyone who wants one.

So if you want a Switch 2, it might be worth paying the Walmart Plus fee ($12.95) to sign up and get first crack at tomorrow's Nintendo Switch 2 restock!

Another retail sweep

(Image credit: Future / Tom's Guide)

The work day is winding down, and I've done another stock sweep across all the major U.S. retailers selling the Switch 2. Unfortunately, things are still pretty dry out there after Best Buy sold out of its recent restock. We're not likely to see any more restocks ahead of tomorrow's at Walmart, but feel free to check them out for yourself in case you get lucky.

Think twice before getting a pre-owned Switch 2

With Switch 2 stock so hard to come by, you may be considering picking up a second-hand Nintendo Switch 2 just to get your hands on Nintendo's latest console. If you do, just be aware that some buyers are reporting that Nintendo's anti-piracy policy has left their pre-owned Switch 2s bricked.

Earlier this month, we reported that Nintendo began disabling online access for Switch 2 consoles that use the MIG Switch (or MIG Flash) flash cartridge, which lets players back up copies of their games. Those affected will show the error code "2124-4508," which will permanently block players from accessing online services. That's exactly what one Reddit user was greeted with after booting up their second-hand Switch 2 from Walmart.

This Switch 2 game will only cost $20

Drag X Drive on Nintendo Switch 2 with Joy-Con 2

Video games just keep getting more expensive, jumping from $70 with the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to $80 with the launch of Mario Kart World. Fortunately though, Nintendo has just announced that one of the Switch 2 games we're most excited about after playing it ourselves will be even cheaper than we thought.

In a post on X, Nintendo of America revealed that Drag x Drive will cost just $19.99 when it launches on August 14. However, you can pre-order it on the eShop right now.

What my colleague Kate Kozuch and I really liked about Drag x Drive is that it does things a bit differently thanks to its more novel control scheme. Not only do you use the Switch 2's Joy-Cons in Mouse Mode but you use two this way at the same time to control your character's vehicle in a game of Rocket League-style basketball. Then, when it's time to shoot, you lift up a Joy-Con and use motion controls to do so.

For me personally, Drag x Drive feels like the Switch 2's version of the original Nintendo Switch's Arms. I had a ton of fun playing Arms with motion controls and I'm still holding out for a sequel. In the meantime though, Drag x Drive should hold me over as I found playing the game in double Mouse Mode really had me working up a sweat.

Check your local Target

target store sign

Although the Nintendo Switch 2 is still sold out online, I was able to find 7 consoles in stock right near my house. To check in your area, you will need to sign in with your Target account or create an account if you don't have one already.

I didn't have a Target account myself and signing up only took a minute or so followed by verification via text message. Once that was done, I clicked on Pickup and then the Show in-stock stores button below it. This pulled up one Target store with Switch 2 stock 7 miles from me and another 38 miles away. Obviously, your mileage will vary depending on where you live. However, if you want a Switch 2 today, finding a store with stock and heading there in person seems to be your best bet.

If you'd rather order a Switch 2 online and have it delivered, keep checking back for more restocks. Or, if you have a Walmart Plus membership, you can reserve a Switch 2 tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9pm (ET).

Don't pay for these Switch 2 Upgrades

Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Editions

If you just picked up a Nintendo Switch 2 or are hoping to get one in the next restock, you're probably looking to experience some of the upgraded games on your new console. While Mario Kart World is very easy to recommend and you might even get it with your Switch 2 if you pick up the bundle, there are plenty of other great games to check out.

Two of which are the Nintendo Switch 2 Editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you already own these games, you don't have to rebuy them. Instead, you only need to pay $10 to upgrade them to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

For those that are Nintendo Switch Online members and pay extra for the Expansion Pack, you can save $20 and get both of these upgrades for free.

To do so, just head to the Nintendo Switch Online tab or open the eShop and search for either game. With a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, you can download them for free and experience Hyrule with updated graphics and buttery smooth frame rate of 60fps.

Additionally, not every Switch 2 game will be capable of running at 4K/60fps let alone 1080p/120fps. So Ryan's picked out the TVs that pack all the specs you need so you don't overspend on unneeded features. Check out his top picks below.

Where to buy Street Fighter 6 for Switch 2

Street Fighter 6

Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza are hands-down the titles I'm most excited for on the Switch 2. But I'd also like to add Street Fighter 6 to that list. I've been playing SF titles since I was a kid and SF6 is right up my alley. Here are all of the retailers where you can buy the game right now.

Reminder: Walmart's restock is for members only...

Hey, all! Deals EIC Louis here keeping an eye out for Switch 2 restocks this afternoon. So as we all know, Walmart will have Switch 2 restocks for Walmart Plus members tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9pm (ET).

However, the restock is for paying Walmart Plus members only. That means if you sign up for the free trial, no Switch 2 for you. That means you can either opt for the Walmart Plus annual plan ($98/year) or sign up for a Walmart Plus monthly plan ($12.95/month) and then cancel it once you get your Switch 2.

Check out our Walmart Plus guide for all the perks of membership.

The latest perk includes free access to Paramount Plus at no extra cost. Walmart Plus comes with a free 30-day trial.

Bought a Switch 2 already? You'll probably want extra storage soon

Nintendo Switch 2 25GB microSD Express Card
Nintendo Switch 2 25GB microSD Express Card: $59 at Walmart

If you're planning to buy a lot of Switch 2 games, chances are, you're going to need pick up some storage ASAP.
Sure, the Switch 2 packs in 256GB storage already, but some of the Switch 2 games need a lot more storage space, too: Cyberpunk 2077 alone requires almost 60 GB.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop

If you've been lucky enough to bag your Switch 2 already, you'll know that it comes with a lot more internal storage than the original Switch... but the games demand more of that space, too.

If you're an early Switch 2 adopter, chances are you're going to want to play a lot of games on your shiny new system and if you want to avoid the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling your games constantly across the system's lifetime, it's probably a good idea to expand your storage options soon.

Another Switch 2 stock sweep

(Image credit: Future / Tom's Guide)

Still not seeing any major changes across the U.S.; if you're looking to bag a Switch 2 online, that Walmart Plus restock is still looking like the surest bet.

In the meantime, though, there do seem to be units still out in the wild. If you can make it to a store with stock, you might be able to bag a Switch 2 in-store.

Here's our full suite of links once again, so you can check if there's any available near you:

In-store stock available @ Target

Looks like there are still some Switch 2 units and Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundles available in-store at Target.

Via the "Check Stores" function on the site, I'm seeing units in various Target stores across the U.S.

Most of the stores I have checked are flagging that they've only got a very small number of consoles in stock.

If you're after a console, click through to the Target site below and see if you have any stock nearby.

If you're based in the U.K. and you desperately want to bag a Nintendo Switch 2, the Nintendo store still has the console available for purchase for £395.

I've checked, and the Mario Kart World Bundle is not in stock, but if you're not interested in Mario's next-gen racer (or you're looking forward to Donkey Kong: Bananza to drop next month), now's the time to buy.

It seems like everyone's next big shot at bagging a Switch 2 will be via the Walmart Switch 2 restock coming on Wednesday, June 25.

The restock event will initially be exclusive to Walmart Plus members, starting at 9 p.m. ET, before opening up to everyone at 10 p.m. ET.

We posted about this yesterday evening, but I wanted to flag it again to ensure aspiring Switch 2 owners who are keeping a close eye on our live coverage don't miss out.

I wouldn't be hugely surprised if it sells out within that first hour, though. If you're still looking for an opportunity to snag your own Switch 2 ASAP, shelling out an extra $12.95 for Walmart Plus is probably a good move.

Switch 1 game deals galore

If you want to flesh out your gaming library for when your Nintendo Switch 2 console finally arrives, one of my favorite places to shop Nintendo Switch game deals is Woot. Right now this retailer is running its Video Game Super Sale with some nice discounts on must-have games for the original Nintendo Switch.

This is a must-own Nintendo Switch 2 accessory

Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller
Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller: $84 at Walmart

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is practically guaranteed to be the most in-demand Switch 2 accessory, and it packs a suitable upgrade over its predecessor adding a headphone jack, the new "C" button, and customizable back buttons.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop

Once you've tried the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, you can never go back! Luckily this accessory is still in stock at various retailers including Walmart. Personally, I've used my Nintendo Switch 1 Pro Controller to death so I'll be upgrading to the new version ASAP.

Stock sweep

After a quick look at all the major retailers, the Switch 2 stock situation seems unchanged. While there are no major restocks to be found, there are a few Switch 2 units here and there depending on your location, such as at Walmart and Target. If you want to take a look for yourself, check the links below.

The Nintendo Switch 2-compatible GameCube controller is in stock at Nintendo U.S. right now. If you've already snagged yourself a Nintendo Switch 2 console and are looking forward to replaying all those awesome GameCube titles available on Nintendo Switch Online, this controller will definitely improve your experience!

Looks like Nintendo U.K. also has Nintendo Switch 2 units in stock right now. Unfortunately, there are no Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundles in stock at the moment.

A few units at Amazon U.K.

Looks like Amazon U.K. has a limited number of Nintendo Switch 2 units in stock right now, although the Mario Kart World bundle seems to be out of stock. Act fast!

Is this a sign?

Call me paranoid, but I've found an Amazon product page link for the Nintendo Switch 2 that leads to a "page not found" message. That has me wondering whether an Amazon restock could be coming. I'll keep a close eye on this and let you know if anything comes of this, but for now, give it a try and see if you have any luck finding stock at Amazon.

Same story at Target

Looks like Target has the same stock situation as Walmart, with a couple of units available in certain stores. At the moment, I can see availability in the Manhattan Herald Square store, for example.

Morning all! It looks like Walmart may have a few Nintendo Switch 2 units available, depending on your location. Give the link a try and see if you can snag one — I'm seeing very low stock numbers reported on the site, though.

Switch 2 Mario Kart: for $499 @ Walmart

Switch 2 consoles still in-store at Target...

It's about 5:30pm here in New York and I'm still seeing limited Switch 2 restock in select Target stores. Remember, this is an in-store only drop at select stores, so it's likely to run out soon.

Right now I'm seeing a healthy amount of stock at within a 50-mile radius with Switch 2 consoles in Hell's Kitchen, Flatbush, LIC, and even across the Hudson in parts of NJ like Kearny and Edgewater. Just click the "show in-stock stores" button to see your nearest stock with stock.

Could there be more Switch 2 Best Buy restock later...?

This week is the Best Buy Member Deal Days Sale. Think of it as Best Buy's Prime Day with hundreds of deals exclusively for My Best Buy members. (The sale is for paying members only and annual prices start at $49/year).

Although Best Buy just restocked the Switch 2 earlier today, I wouldn't be surprised if they restock again on Wednesday during Walmart's confirmed Switch 2 restock. So if you didn't get stock earlier today, you may have a few more options later this week.

Restock alert! Target has in-store stock...

Well, it's looking like today is a good day for Switch 2 restocks. Hot on the heels of this afternoon's Best Buy drop, Target has Switch 2 consoles available in select stores. It doesn't look like they're available for shipping, but I would definitely recommend you check your locat store via the Target store locator.

Walmart has confirmed it will be restocking Nintendo Switch 2 on Wednesday, June 25. The restock event will initially be exclusive to Walmart Plus members, starting at 9 p.m. ET, before opening up to everyone at 10 p.m. ET.

Even if you missed out on today's brief Best Buy restock, you'll have another chance this Wednesday when Walmart launches its own restock. Note that you'll have to be a Walmart Plus member to get dibs an hour before everyone else.

Another stock sweep

I just did a stock sweep of all the major US retailers selling the Switch 2 and came up empty. Things got exciting during the Best Buy restock, but it now seems we're back to business as usual with Switch 2 restocks, or the lack of them. That said, another retailer might randomly have stock again, so there's still hope!

A great Mario Kart World peripheral

Nintendo Joy-Con 2 Wheel (Pair)
Nintendo Joy-Con 2 Wheel (Pair): $24 at Walmart

You don't need the Switch Joy-Con 2 Wheel to enjoy games like Mario Kart World, but it'll sure make the experience much more fun. You can get a set of two for just $24.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop

If you were lucky enough to get a Switch 2 during Best Buy's restock, why not get a peripheral that's perfect for Mario Kart World? To that end, we recommend the Switch Joy-Con 2 Wheel.

No Best Buy restock (at the moment)

It looks like the party is indeed over, as another check of Best Buy shows no restocks at the moment. I'll keep checking the retailer and other vendors for more stock, so don't lose hope!

Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle @ Best Buy (SOLD OUT)

Best Buy is sold out!

Looks like Best Buy has just run out of the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle. That's a bummer for sure, but at least the retail giant had systems available for over two hours... which is something we haven't seen since Nintendo's system launched. I'm going to keep checking in on restocks, but it appears the party might be over (for now).

Still going!

Guess what? Best Buy still has Switch 2 in stock! It's been almost two hours, so I'm shocked that stock hasn't completely sold out like usual. But as I said in the previous post, it might be because it appears you can only get this system in a store, even if you order online. While having to drive (or take a train) to a Best Buy might be annoying, at least you'll have a Switch 2!

In-store pick up

One thing I want to note about this Best Buy Switch 2 restock is that it might require you to pick up your system at the store. For instance, one of my colleagues purchased one, but Best Buy isn't shipping it to his home. It's also not available to ship to my location, which is roughly in the same Queens, NY neighborhood as my colleague. Perhaps this is why stock is still available.

Hey, all! Tony Polanco here to take over this Switch 2 restock blog for the next few hours!

Right now, the big story is the Best Buy restock, which is still going strong! I'm used to jumping on this live blog to discuss how there's no Switch 2 units available anywhere, so this is certainly a nice change of pace! Check the link below to snag the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle. Hurry up because we don't know how long restocks will last!

A full hour restock

It has officially exceeded an hour since Switch 2 consoles became available at Best Buy, which I must admit is a lot longer than I would have expected.

I'm unsure whether the demand isn't as high as we initially thought, or if Best Buy managed to secure an extensive stock of bundles. Either way, they're still available as of this post, so hit the link below if you want to pick one up.

Still going strong

While it's been going for more than 45 minutes, Best Buy is still showing bundles in stock!

A long restock

Mario Kart World

I'm legitimately shocked how long this restock has lasted, but as of 12:25 p.m. ET, Best Buy is still letting you click the "Add to cart" button on the Switch 2 with Mario Kart bundle.

Yes, it's been available for a while, but you don't want to wait, as they could (and will) sell out at any time. If the button is active for you and you've been looking to get a console, take advantage of it while you still can.

Still Mario Kart bundle only

Nintendo Switch 2

If you were hoping to get a Switch 2 without Mario Kart World, this isn't the restock for you. However, if you're willing to spend an extra $50 to get the console and the game, Best Buy still lists the bundle as In Stock.

Test purchase

Switch 2 buy

At 12:10 p.m. ET, I added a Switch 2 to my cart and received a waiting in line page that told me not to refresh or leave the page. From there, it took me to a sign-in page where I had to do a one-time code.

From there, it got me to the checkout page, where I was able to get a console. Your mileage may vary, but on my end, it still seems to be working.

Still there

The Mario Kart bundle is still showing as in stock for me as of 12:04 p.m. ET, but you'd better go quickly if you're interested in getting one, as we don't expect it to last.

The Best Buy restock is live and is expected to sell out extremely quickly. If you're interested in getting a console, hit the links that follow and make it happen (it looks like only the bundle with Mario Kart is in stock):

We'll keep refreshing the Best Buy website and will post as soon as the restock starts.

US stock sweep results

Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller

I've gone through every U.S. retailer that carries Switch 2 (see below for links if you want to check yourself), and unfortunately, none have Switch 2 consoles in stock. While we know Walmart is slated to offer consoles on June 25 (with Walmart+ members getting access an hour early), it seems other retailers aren't getting more consoles.

We'll keep an eye out for any restocks or announcements of new consoles, but for now, it seems everything is quiet.

Get your head in the game with the Switch 2 Camera

Nintendo Switch 2 Camera

There's no luck with Switch 2 restocks right now, but you may want to look at all the accessories that will make gaming on Nintendo's latest console all the more fun. And that includes the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera.

It's not for everyone, and it only has limited game support, but we noted in our Nintendo Switch 2 Camera review that it's a relatively affordable webcam with decent image quality to use in games like Mario Kart World. It just adds an extra layer of fun with friends when playing online.

The camera is available at all retailers, so if you're looking to play with pals across borders, the Switch 2 Camera is a good shout.

Sign up to Walmart+ for early access!

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

This week, Walmart is looking to be your best chance to grab a Switch 2, whether that be just the console or the Mario Kart World bundle. It's set to be in stock at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Wednesday, June 25th, but only Walmart+ subscribers will get early access to pick one up.

Walmart+ is a paid subscription service ($98 for its annual plan), but you can get a 30-day free trial if you haven't signed up before. Start that off and you'll be on your way to be the first (likely of many) to swipe a Switch 2 once it's available at Walmart.

While Switch 2 restocks haven't been kind to the U.S. or U.K. currently, there's still sure to be more drops throughout the week, and we'll let you know once they finally arrive.

Switch 2 stock available at BJ's for members

If you're a member, there appears to be Nintendo Switch 2 stock over at BJ's. The console has been in and out of stock over the past few weeks at the retailer, and it's still limited to "1 per member."

There are no other Switch 2 consoles in stock at other retailers at the moment, so this is a good opportunity to grab one for BJ's members!

Two ways to get a Switch 2 in the UK right now

Nintendo Switch 2

Finding stock in the U.S. and U.K. is proving difficult at the moment, but there are still two opportunities to grab a Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.K. — but they come with a catch.

First, there's a Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle that comes with a 12-month membership to Nintendo Switch Online over at EE. However, this is a monthly contract, meaning it's £22 per month over 24 months. At least you'll only have to pay £20 upfront.

There's also a Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle at The Game Collection with a bunch of add-ons, including Cyberpunk 2077, the Switch 2 Camera, a 256GB SanDisk MicroSD card and a travel case. This will set you back £609, so a lot more than your regular Switch 2 order, but you do get a few nice extras.

Otherwise, we'll be keeping an eye out for more Switch 2 restocks!

Walmart confirms Switch 2 restock this week

A Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console

Getting hold of a Switch 2 has been really tough the last few weeks — but Walmart is offering us a ray of hope this week.

The retailer has confirmed to The Shortcut that it will be getting a restock of both the Switch 2 and the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle later this week. The system will be in stock from 9pm ET / 6pm PT on Wednesday, June 25th.

Unfortunately, you'll need to be a Walmart+ subscriber to get early access. So if you haven't signed up yet, now's your chance.

UK stock has vanished too

Nintendo Switch 2 London event hands-on images

If you live in the U.K., then you've probably found it a lot easier to get your hands on a Switch 2 console. Retailers across the pond have seemingly had a steady flow of consoles coming through — but right now it seems very quiet out there.

Neither Amazon nor Argos in the U.K. currently have any stock left and other retailers like Very.co.uk and Game.co.uk are also coming up empty.

A retailer sweep to start the week

Nintendo Switch 2

The story of the Switch 2 so far has been of stock just trickling through some of the retailers and, sadly it looks like little has changed as we start the week.

It's Jeff managing the blog at the moment and I've started out by checking through all the retailers on our list. There's nothing so far that I can see in any of the big outlets so we'll just have to sit tight for now.

Walmart did confirm last week that it'll get a new shipment in starting at 9 pm Eastern/6 pm Pacific on Wednesday (June 25). Keep in mind that you do need to be a Walmart+ member to purchase the console or the Mario Kart World bundle.

Here's all the links to the retailers again, so you can have a look at your own leisure. Don't worry though, we'll keep checking through as the week goes on.
