What happened to Jane Andrews in real-life?
Sentenced to life in prison in 2001, Andrews briefly escaped from an open prison in 2009 but was recaptured. She was later released on licence in 2015, recalled to prison in 2018, and then released again in August 2019. She was not involved in the making of this show and family members of the victim, Thomas Cressman, have spoken out against the series being made.
