As June kicks off, settle into warmer nights with new shows premiering this week on Prime Video, Apple TV and more of the best streaming services, as well as broadcast and cable TV.

This week's lineup serves up everything from sweaty reality-TV flirtations to glam-rock melodrama and prestige thrills. Javier Bardem headlines the TV adaptation of "Cape Fear, "Love Island USA" returns with more villa hookups in season 8, "The Vampire Lestat" puts a glam rock spin on "Interview With a Vampire," and young New Yorkers juggle jobs with the rest of their lives in "Not Suitable for Work."

The vibes: “Friends” but they’re way more career-obsessed and stressed.

The plot: Mindy Kaling’s latest series follows five ambitious twentysomethings in NYC chasing careers and figuring out their identities. AJ (Ella Hunt) is a first-year investment banker fueled by “alpha” energy, while Abby (Avantika) navigates fashion-world humiliation. Constance Wu, Jay Ellis, Ego Nwodim and Victor Garber round out the cast as their demanding bosses.

Premiere date: Episodes 1-3 on Tuesday, June 2 at 12 a.m. ET

The vibes: All the romantic villa chaos you know and love, unfolding in real time.

The plot: A fresh batch of singles heads into the villa ready to couple up, stir drama and pretend they’re here for actual love (LOL). Ariana Madix returns to oversee the flirting Olympics while Iain Stirling supplies the running commentary from the sidelines. This year’s lineup includes a Paralympic medalist and an Islander with franchise family ties.

The vibes: “Saving the world” burnout is a very real thing.

The plot: A year after saving the realm from the Chroma Conclave, Vox Machina has splintered into separate emotional quests. Some are looking for purpose; others, domestic bliss. But another looming apocalypse waits for no one, forcing the gang back together for darker battle and dimension-hopping madness. The penultimate season also throws in a long-awaited debut by Taryon Darrington.

The vibes: Martin Scorsese’s classic thriller gets a modern update for the doomscroll era.

The plot: This series adaptation, inspired by the 1991 film, brings the stalker story into the present, where Javier Bardem’s Max Cady emerges from prison and sets his sights on married attorneys Anna and Tom Bowden (Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson). Max weaponizes charm to create a whirl of doubt, and as public perception grows against the couple, their lives unravel in terrifying fashion.

The vibes: Sex, drugs and glam rock and roll … vampire style.

The plot: After two seasons of brooding through Louis’ version of events, Lestat (Sam Reid) hijacks the narrative to tell his side of the story. Furious over Daniel Molloy’s bestselling memoir painting him as the villain, the immortal diva launches a rock career and hits the road on a decadent tour. Original songs will serve as the soundtrack for upheaval across both the human and undead worlds.

Premiere date: Episode 1 on Sunday, June 7 at 3 a.m. ET
