Returning to Netflix with a second season is “Missing: Dead or Alive,” a true crime series that follows a specialized missing-persons unit in Columbia, South Carolina’s Richland County Sheriff's Department as they race against time to find people who have vanished under troubling circumstances. Viewers seem to love Netflix’s true-crime documentaries and docuseries, so it’s no surprise this one is climbing the top 10.

“Missing: Dead or Alive” season 2 examines a range of cases from a missing young child lost in the woods, to the disappearance of a 27-year-old man named Morgan Duncan, whose vanishing leads investigators into drug-related danger and suspicious activity. Through interviews, search operations, and detective work, the team pieces together clues in real-time, striving to find missing people and uncover what happened.

‘Is It Cake? Holiday’

You really can’t go wrong with a guilty pleasure show around Christmas time. “Is It Cake? Holiday” returns for season 2, a festive take on the signature cake-show that has plenty of comedy and holiday spirit. The creativity and skill of the cake artists always impress, and the guessing game is surprisingly addictive because even if you don’t care about cake, you still want to figure out what’s real.

Season 2 brings back six all‑star cake artists — three from previous editions and three newcomers — as they compete over three holiday‑themed episodes. Mikey Day returns as host. Each round, the bakers must sculpt ultra-realistic cakes shaped like festive objects (think ice skates, nutcrackers, ornaments, seasonal treats, etc.). A rotating panel of celebrity judges inspects multiple identical-looking items and must guess which one is cake. Those whose cakes are identified are eliminated, while the deceivers advance, all competing for a share of a $75,000 prize and a spot in the finale.
