An incredible HBO Max Black Friday deal has dropped and you don't want to miss it. It lets you get the streaming service for $2.99 per month, which is a giant discount off the $10.99 price it typically costs. And there's a lot of amazing content on Max, which makes this a ridiculous value.
It's important to note that this is the HBO Max plan with ads, so you'll have to deal with occasional pauses and stops. But at this low price, it's probably not a big deal to put up with some stops and starts. When you consider that the ad-free plan isn't discounted (so it's still $18.99 a month), a few commercial breaks don't sound so bad.
With shows like "Welcome to Derry" and "Peacemaker," home improvement programs, and tons of live sports, HBO Max is a solid streaming service with a well-rounded set of content (wrestling fans, don't forget AEW is on it). The discounted plan includes ads and supports 2 devices at once, which should be sufficient for most people.
Amazon is offering the same deal on the Prime channel version of HBO Max. If you prefer to keep all your streaming services within Amazon's ecosystem, this deal is for you.
There are a lot of good streaming deals out there this year. You can get some services for as little $0.99 per month. This HBO Max deal is definitely one of the better options for anyone looking for a lot of content without spending too much.
HBO Max boasts many award-winning shows like "Game of Thrones," "Succession" and "Veep," as well as new prestige titles like "Task" and "House of the Dragon." You can also watch Warner Bros. movies, including blockbusters like "Sinners" and "Superman." It's also the home of all things Pennywise. You can even stream the original miniseries, giving you a fix of the murderous clown as he was when Tim Curry filled his massive shoes. It's also a good option for sports fans, offering NHL, MLB, AEW (wrestling), NCAA basketball, NASCAR and more.
HBO Max will be available for $2.99 per month for just over a week, with the deal slated to end on 12/1/25. If it sounds like a good value to you, whether you go with the direct channel or the Prime Video channel, you'll want to snag this deal while it's available. In total, you'll save $96 over the course of the year, which is quite significant.
Of course, there's also the HBO Max bundles with Disney Plus and Hulu, which are great deals to keep an eye on.
