Classic Nintendo Games in Stop-Motion Animation
A really cool project with classic Nintendo characters.
If you've played Super Mario Bros. Crossover, you're probably filled with nostalgia. Perhaps that's the same feeling that YouTuber "bornforthis43" felt that compelled him/her to make this stop-motion animation that's completely inspired by classic Nintendo games.
As Urlesque notes, the three-minute video (that took 120 hours of work to make) is comprised of the following inspirations and materials:
- Kirby's Adventure - with gummy candy
- Contra - with Legos
- The Legend of Zelda - with twigs and construction paper
- Metroid - with iPhone Samus
- Mega Man 2 - with Legos and construction paper
- Super Mario Bros. - with vegetables

Hahaha Mega man rocked!
this is crazy i hope this person gets something out of it more rewarding then just an accomplishment feeling? a job or self advertisement? Other wise i would say it would be a waste of time
i have missed those sound effects!
Wow. Close to, if not verbatim, to the original.
I never played "Kirby", but a TON of hours went into the games beginning with Contra. I could definitely "see it" in this reproduction.
Wow, serious kudos to this artist! Is Link a gummy bear?! LMAO!
wow thats 120 hours WELL spent!
lol....way cool
I liked how very creative this was

I don't get when people stay stuff like this or "get a life". Because what exactly do you do as a hobby that's so superior? We all have things we like to do in our free time, and honestly I think this is really cool.
This dude/chick has serious skills with this! The whole video was great.
Would be awesome if the camera wasn't giving me a headache, but still pretty damn cool.
That was awesome. Brings back great memories of good times past. Those sound effects were epic! Makes we want to fire up the old Nintendo again.
unbeleivable!!
OMG where is Donkey Kong? The only big title missing!
Awesome. Especially Samus flipping during her jumps. I always thought her flips looked a little awkward.
I generally avoid viral video stuff, but this one is definitely getting shared.
Very well done! Loved the Contra part - watching the guy in the tower fire that one bullet before he gets smoked made me LOL.
Mega man was best battle, hands down! Would've loved to see duck hunt in there too. Or bomberman. Definitely made by someone that is a true NES aficionado.
For those that hate Apple, you may not agree with me, but I have to admit that using an iPhone for Samus was pretty funny.
Awesome dude!
megaman! this video made me want to play those 8bit games! ahhh sweet sweet memory.
That's awesome. Liked the Zelda and the Megaman.
Very, very cool. I got chills from the Contra one. LOL.
