Top 10 Most Watched & Searched Videos of 2009

Over the last few weeks Microsoft, Google and Yahoo! have been sharing the most searched terms or phrases of the year. Some were interesting but mostly the lists were kind of snore. YouTube's most searched and watched videos list is a little more interesting.
Google today posted the top five most watched YouTube videos and the most watched music videos. Topping the video clip list was Susan Boyle, while the music video crown went to Pitbull's "I Know You Want Me."
The funny-the-first-couple-of-times "David After Dentist" also made an appearance along with the still-pretty-funny "I'm On A Boat" by The Lonely Island. Absent is the wasn't-ever-funnny, "Charlie Bit My Finger."
Check out the lists below. Also included are the most popular searches on YouTube by month for the U.S. and the world. Not surprising to see Tiger Woods captured the top spot for December in both the global and U.S. listings.

Ive watching manny youtube videos that are FARRRRRRRRRR better than all of those videos and they only had anywhere from 1000-1 million views.
I love how "I'm on a Boat" is in there with actual musicians (I use THAT term lightly, considering the "musicians"). Lonely Island is some funny shit.
Yeah, I agree, there is much better stuff out there. If you want to see some funny stuff, do a search for Jeff Dunham, particularly Achmed the Dead Terrorist. That is some funny schiznit!

Maybe the headline of this article should be renamed to "Top 10 Most Watched & Searched Youtube Videos of 2009" cause I'm pretty sure the real Top 10 will contain at least one video starring Tori Black...

Charlie bit me isn't on this list? Doubtful, since it's one of the sponsored videos and has like 150 million views.
I was also expecting to see Charlie Bit Me. That video is currently at 140 million. I think that's up from about 125 million in only about a month.

Reveals the video has only received 81 million views... not 120 million+
I'm saying the world is at german shepherd level, and america is somewehre between a pomeranian and a pug. Eliminate america and the world average instantly jumps up to border collie level or maybe chimp level.

You do realize the few differences in the list don't make the global better right? Adam Lambert vs Bad Romance, woo world SOOO much better... not. On a boat vs christian bale, no big diff there really. The Climb vs Watchmen, think US has that one, liked Watchmen can't stand Miley. Send it on vs Usain Bolt, would give it to World there, rest pretty much identical, seems the US is as as full of idiots as the rest of the world.
