The iPAQ H1940 is perfect in almost every respect, even for the PDA aficionado.In addition to its good features, small dimensions and light weight, the device provides good

to very good test performance. The Achilles' heel of the H1940 is its battery life. For a device of this class, three hours is not enough.

We would advise users who can do without the integrated Bluetooth function to buy the H1930, available for about $100 less. Except for the integrated BT and iPAQ Filestore, this device includes the same functionalities, such as the SD card expansion slot.

Moreover, the battery life in the iPAQ H1940 could turn out to be a good thing, because S3C2410 processor only runs at a speed of 206 MHz.

This test has shown one thing at least. There are still competitors, in this case Samsung, that have the know-how necessary to produce competitive and innovative processors for mobile end-user devices. In other words, it doesn't always have to have "Intel inside".
