For the sake of comparison three laptops similar to the Toshiba Libretto U100-S213 are included in this review. These are listed below along with a link to MobilityGuru's review of each.

Technically Sony's VAIO VGN-TX670P is .2 pound (91 g) over the ultra lightweight laptop weight limit. I think that's close enough for it to be included among the ultra lights. And, as you'll soon see, the VAIO actually comes in as the lightest of the lightweights included here when weight is calculated with a DVD drive included.
