Crysis 2 Teaser Shown in Times Square NYC
But can Times Square play Crysis 2? Yes, it can.
UPDATE: Video updated with direct feed.
Crysis 2 moves from the jungle into the metropolis in New York City. It is then only fitting that the world premier teaser trailer would debut on a big screen in Times Square.
Luckily, the footage was captured by a Manhattanite and uploaded for the rest of the world to see. It's not direct feed or especially crisp, but it's all we have until Crytek throws us another bone.

Can't wait for it. What's the final ETA?
lucky bastards
Crysis 2 looks like it could have a good story to it...
ETA is around Q4 according to various sites.
Crysis / Crysis Warhead + realistic damage (not a 60 round clip in one random Vietnamese dude) + Good story = EPIC GAME.
I'm sorry Crysis was a fun benchmark, but a mediocre game that wasn't very memorable for anything except bad damage stats, bad AI, and pretty graphics.
Can't wait!
What are they running, a SLi GTX 480 lol? Or 5970 Crossfire? Seems enough fast.

Hmmm, can any Mods tell me how to edit lol? I am doing as usually but thers no way of editing.
You don't need as much to play a video then to play a game...
I really hate 'teaser' trailers...
GIVE ME THE GOODS!
That reminds me of gears of war.
you have to pay for audio???
The damage meters are kinda weird, but so was farcry 1. I haven't played farcry 2.
if only they made the gameplay good.. the graphics alone in crysis made me want to play WoW again.
I could see a 5850 going under minimum requirements and a 5970 as recommended! -- Oh that would make cry.
i just hope thats its not gonna be all aliens in this game.
i actually really enjoyed the first game, and how you could replay it several times in different ways. come up with new ways to ambush enemies and set traps. but it fell away when you stopped fighting human characters.
if its just aliens in this game, then it will be mostly just run-and-gun, which would probably suck.
looking forward to testing it on my rig though. most games that came out recently maxed out easily on my rig, not so great looking. other than metro 2033 which is just unplayable...
hopefully this will look nice and run well.
This is going to be freakin' sweet!
All this worry about requirements....it's going to run on consoles!!
But can it play... oh wait. Wonder if Crysis 2 will be another Falo (failed Halo).
Crysis was one of the best single player shooters, hope this delivers as well.
Crysis even updated to warhead has always been a terrible benchmark of any kind dx9 or dx10 due to problems with bad optimization within the engine itself.
cryengine 3's ability to run with very good graphics on consoles is a testament to its massive optimizations over cryengine 2 and the developers have even stated that it will be capable of the same graphics levels as crysis on ultra while having lower system reqs while being on a lower quality setting, so hopefully we should see a very pretty game without their being another bout of.... "but can it play crysis(2)"

Crysis 2 on consoles will NOT look like Crysis PC on Ultra. It won't even look like Crysis PC on High.

Isn't this still released by EA? That means either their limit-install SecuROM or their Always LIVE-internet connection required for play.
They can keep it.

I hope you are wrong but sadly it may come true and I will not touch it then. Their loss not mine, plenty of other games if EA wants to go Draconian on DRM.
Man..computer hardware grows so fast...our hard earned money gives us the hard ware which goes to gutter after 2-3 years..Damn...
I hope it is better than warhead.

i was referring to the PC's implementation and that the optimizations to the engine has allowed a console version to be created in the first place, plus i also stated being able to run with very good graphics then referred to the comparison with crysis i also mentioned system requirements which you just don't do when talking about consoles, cant people learn to read and quote properly... seriously

sounds pretty memorable to me...
Dude... looks like a new benchmark for Tom's.

cant people learn to write properly punctuation and all that you know what i mean
I misinterpreted your statement then. But that's because you talked about consoles and Ultra quality in the very same sentence. Read the passage I had quoted, and maybe you'll understand that it is your way of expressing yourself that causes the confusion.
