That seems pretty high. I wouldn't be interested in one of these as a commuter unless they were under 10K. I know smaller is more expensive in the tech world, but I don't feel the same applies to cars.
And it isn't as fuel efficient as the size would suggest; half the size of a normal car but only marginally more fuel efficient. I'd rather have a Civic, Golf, or Mazda 3 as commuter car than this death trap.
geeee, freaking EURO doesnt want to solve the gas problem instead they want to drive marginal gas saving cars which are not worth it, and consider death traps!
I wouldnt want to get hit by a suburban with that death mobile.
worth $4k extra for a corolla to save a life FTW.
Its a little pricey for what it is, but remember, its made by Mercedes. Also, small != death trap.
The "freaking EURO" have been driving safe and small cars since ages that have better MPG than some hybrids. Don't blame them for their low fuel consumption since ever while we just woke up to the problem. It's much safer than you think. http://www.greencar.com/features/smart-car/
