Skyrim DLC Release for PS3 Gets Dated

By - Source: VG247

Skyrim DLC for PS3 is finally here.

Skyrim PS3 fans, be excited. Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn are all within reach and have finally been dated.

Dragonborn will be the first to touch down on the PSN on February 12. Hearthfire will follow the week after on the 19 and Dawnguard the 26. Each DLC will be on sale for half off the week that it's released.

Unfortunately, these release dates are North America only. European release dates have yet to be announced.

Skyrim DLC has never made it to the PS3 in the past due to technical issues. When Skyrim was first released, PS3 fans were forced to suffer through a save glitch in which the game would be rendered unplayable once save game files exceeded the 5 MB size.

All DLC has already been released on the Xbox 360. Dragonborn will be coming to PC gamers Feb. 5th.

Microsoft paid Bethesda for DLCs to be Xbox exclusive for 30 days. I used to be upset about that, but now I see it as bug testing.

virtualbanI know people who got 6 months of their life drained by Skyrim. With my OCD I decided to stay away from it, at least till it got less of the gamer community talking about Skyrim (think of it as staying away from passive smoking when trying to quit). But with Dragonborn for PC I feel a strong temptation now.
Please, play it. It is an amazing RPG.
