Quanta Shipping Portege G810 Smartphones To Toshiba
Quanta Computer recently began shipping Portege G810 Windows Mobile-based smartphones to Toshiba, helping Quanta regain its footing as it looks to compete in the global smartphone market with the likes of High Tech Computer (HTC) and Asustek Computer, according to market sources. The ODM production of the 3.5G-enabled Portege G810 could top tens of thousand units per month, with the prospects that Toshiba may increase the outsourcing of handsets later, the sources indicated.
