Microsoft's KIN One, KIN Two Specs Revealed
Microsoft's German KIN Facebook page details the hardware while old HTML stored in Google Cache reveal two Verizon subscription plans.
The Unwired has discovered that Microsoft's German Windows Phone Facebook fan page reveals additional specs in regards to the upcoming KIN One and KIN Two phones. Manufactured by Sharp, we already know that both devices offer slide-out QWERTY keyboards and provide identical KIN online and connected services. KIN One will be the smaller, compact phone with a "solid camera" whereas the KIN Two will come with more memory, a wider screen, and a better camera.
but as for the specific specs, they are as follows (thanks Ubergizmo for the roundup):

The Unwired also uncovered details regarding the phones heading to Verizon. Earlier KIN.com website code--now stored on Google Cache--reveal that both devices are compatible with Verizon's EV-DO Rev A network. The cache also provides evidence of Verizon-based KIN subscriptions: Basic and Premium.
The Basic Plan will provide unlimited texts, contact backup, and other TBD details. As for the Premium Plan, it will provide everything listed in the Basic Plan along with more minutes, expanded data plans, and a "Studio" subscription. Studio allows users to store, organize, and backup photos, videos, contacts, and messages online via a secure connection.

I'm not a real big fan of the roundish design.
4 and 8 gigs seem kinda weak.
The ONE looks super Asian. Doesn't look like it quite fits the US market. I'd say go for the more industrial professional look like the iPhone 4G or the HTC phones. You don't want your phone looking like a cheap plastic baby toy.
Probably a good product, just not digging the aesthetics.
this one is for the teens but their windows 7 phone i am still wondering what that will be like, hmmm?
Sounds impressive. I heard about the product via Paul Thurotts podcast over the weekend. He was excited about it, so I'm guessing it has something more to it.
kin one is one ugly phone.
As an Asian, I also can't find any aesthetics in these phones. They just don't look like products of 2010, but rather something 20 years ago...Especially when you compare them with the iPhone 4G
Usability is crucial, but I really can't imagine a teenager using these things while walking on the street
Ummm ... hasn't the KIN website, with full specifications, been up for weeks now?
I think that it is a little too late.
I think that MS is making a mistake in marketing these things AFTER announcing the Win7 Phones. I understand the target demographic, but unless the data plan is much cheaper than true smartphone plans, I can't see anyone buying these in lieu of a BB, Android, or Win7 Phone when it comes out on Verizon.
I see absolutely no reason to buy either of these phones.
So, how about a Sony Ericsson Satio 2? That's something I'd dump a truckload of cash into.

Then you shud see the Sony Experia
Those Kins need a remake on the outside look.
I don't like the looks.
