Unboxings are always kinda fun. You get to see the product undressed before it's been released. It might be a nickle-and-dime type of joy, but watching someone cut the tape and pry open a box containing a product you someday hope to own is kind of exciting.

But once the product has been launched and it's lining the shelves, unboxings no longer carry the same sense of wonder. Everyone who wanted one and was in a position to buy one, did. Those who couldn't get one have probably played with one in the store, seen a friend's or read so many reviews that they know what it's like anyway. So how do you make an unboxing interesting after everyone already knows what the device is like? Add Ninjas.
