Customers may also pre-order in stores or by calling 1 800 2 JOIN IN.
According to the spec list, the DROID RAZR will ship with Google Android 2.3.5 "Gingerbread," a 4.3-inch 540 x 960 Super AMOLED Advanced display, a 1.2 GHz TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor, an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (although 11.5 GB will be available), an additional microSD card slot with a pre-installed 16 GB card (but supports up to 32 GB), and a 1780 mAh battery.
As for other features, the phone will sport 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, Stereo Bluetooth Class 2, Version 4.0 LE+EDR, HDMI output, support for DLNA media streaming, HD video capture, a GPS with A-GPS support and more. $299 and no 720p display. No thanks.
nice looking phone is nice
$299 and no 720p display. No thanks.
Agreed. This is too much money. I would rather pick up a GS2 which is currently $199 and will probably be cheaper by the time Razr comes out. Also, they will be competing with Galaxy Nexus. They should lower the price to be competitive. I personally would not pay over $200 for a phone that will be outdated and discounted to $99 in a couple of months.
^Yeah 720p is way better than 1080p *sarcasm*
I'm more surprised at the fact that the screen is of the superamoled type... has Samsung decided to ship units out to Motorola? Isn't this the first non-samsung phone with a superamoled screen?

It's non-Samsung, but it doesn't mean there are no Samsung parts. Apple has bits and pieces from Samsung, but it has the Apple logo on it. Same with this phone.
Pre-orders for an Android phone? HAHAHAHAHAHA. What a joke.
I am disappointed. Razr to me means flip phone. I was expecting some dual screen flip style phone or something.
The original Razr was a thousand bucks. Look how far we've come since then.
How much??? LOL!!!
A thousand bucks? If you mean outside the U.S. then maybe, but I was bought an original RAZR in the first few months, and maybe spent 200. Still one of my favorite all time phones simply because it was sleek, solid, fulfilled its phone functions, and let me tether without any difficulties.
