Paul, Ringo and Tony Hawk Plug Rock Band, Ride
What do you do when your aging franchise needs an injection of excitement to rile up fans? Get Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and Tony Hawk to plug your product, of course!
Alright so it’s not as bad as that. Ringo and Paul are the last surviving Beatles and the game features only Beatles tunes. The duo were present at Microsoft's pre-E3 keynote and with them they brought Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison. Neither Ono or Harrison opened their mouths but McCartney and Starr had scrap of a conversation about the game with McCartney joking, "Whoever thought we'd end up as androids?" Starr went on to say, “The game is good, the graphics are good and we look great,” adding that he likes the way his Rock Band self walks.
Fans can strum along to 45 Beatles tracks including I Am the Walrus, Day Tripper, Back In the U.S.S.R., and Get Back. Microsoft yesterday announced that Xbox 360 users will be able to download 'All You Need Is Love,' with proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.
After all the Beatlesmania had died down, attendees were treated to a glimpse of Tony Hawk, who demonstrated the latest offering from his Tony Hawk video game franchise. Ride comes complete with skateboard peripheral and costs $120. “It’s part of a new physical and social gaming,” Hawk said.

I think Beatlesmania died a long time ago....
I am 34 and the beatles are OK.. but there is no way in hell I would want to listen the beatles all night. whats next Elvis Guitar Hero?
This is aimed for age 50+ rockband players?
I can't say as I've ever thought that Beatles songs would translate well to Rock Band.
However, I do intend to buy either the Gretsch or the Rickenbacker. I haven't quite decided which yet.
have a little respect for yourselves, Ringo and Paul! Your gonna sell out your music to kiddies who dont know what it means?? God forbid u sell your music to iTunes for actual fans who want to listen...
