I've been practicing yoga and Pilates for years; whether it's hot yoga, mat Pilates, reformer, vinyasa, aerial, or Yin, you could say I've done the rounds when it comes to trying new classes. With that and my job as a fitness editor and personal trainer, I've been lucky enough to test a lot of equipment, activewear, and apparel over the years.
I train five times a week, so I've learned what to grab and what to avoid when heading to my mat or the studio, and I want to share that with you, as there are some deals and items worth knowing about right now.
Some of those items include Lululemon's The Mat 5mm, Stanley IceFlow Tumbler, and Bala Bangles ankle and wrist weights. I also swear by Optimum Nutrition protein powder, as it's packed with 24g of protein, and it's gluten-free and low-carb. I've found this supports my protein target needs, along with a balanced diet, and helps me recover from workouts.
I’ve selected 12 of my favorite products below, including gym wear, apparel, and nutrition. I hope it gives you some inspiration when you next head to your yoga or Pilates class.
