It may not be Thanksgiving yet, but many people are already in the festive spirit, and planning ahead for the holiday season.
And whether you go all out with your Christmas decor or prefer a minimal look, the central focus is always the tree. But if you have small rooms or simply don't want the hassle of carrying an enormous fir tree through the house, IKEA has just solved this problem.
The IKEA VINTERFINT Artificial potted plant is a mini indoor and outdoor Christmas tree, and is small enough to fit on a shelf, table, or into a snug space. Best of all, these miniature trees are just $20, which is a fraction of what you'd spend on a standard-sized Christmas tree.
Plus, it makes an eye-catching, festive feature for any room. Here’s why I think these mini trees are so useful.
This indoor/outdoor artificial tree is perfect for small rooms. At just 6 x 37 inches, it can easily be placed on a shelf, table or tiny spaces.
If you want an alternative, this tabletop mini Christmas tree looks so festive. At just 23 inches, this is small enough to fit on a bedside table or countertop with ease. Plus, it comes with LED warm lights.
Why the IKEA mini Christmas tree is a space-saving gem
The IKEA Vinterfint mini tree is a real space-saver, and also very versatile to place around the home.
Measuring in at just six inches in diameter and 37.5 inches tall, the Vinterfint tree is small enough to fit by a sofa or outdoor porch, but big enough to hold the weight of your favorite holiday decorations. It comes in a standard pot, but this can be placed inside a more festive base to suit your style, like a ceramic pot.
In addition, these mini trees are great for compact apartments, kitchens or in kids’ bedrooms to add a festive feel to their space. Personally, I’d elevate it on a shelf or table to draw more attention to its charming size, and make it a nice focal point.
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
What’s more, if you don't want the bother of cleaning tree pine needles, its plastic needles will save you the hassle. This makes it ideal for those with allergies, or pet owners. Win-win!
In any case, these mini trees are a great way of bringing the outdoors in — and I might be tempted to use them all year round!
