3 best Christmas movies you can stream for free on Tubi
Every December, all the best streaming services inevitably split all our perennial holiday favorites between the likes of Netflix, Prime Video, and HBO Max. Unless you own all your must-watch Christmas movies on DVD or Blu-ray, tracking down your preferred watches can get pretty expensive.
If you don't want to splurge on subscriptions to all the major streamers just to settle down in front of a holiday movie, you could always turn to Tubi, which we rank as the best free streaming service.
Like all the other streaming services out there, Tubi is home to its own range of holiday content, from Hallmark-adjacent cozy romances and Christmas Carol riffs through to comedies for all ages and animated adventures.
After doing a little digging, I've found a handful of Christmas classics you should absolutely add to your holiday roster. Below, you'll find my top 3 Christmas movies that you can stream for free on Tubi this December.
The 3 best Christmas movies to stream for free on Tubi
'Arthur Christmas' (2011)
"Arthur Christmas" reveals the real reason Santa manages to deliver presents in time for Christmas Day in one single night: he's got the backing of a state-of-the-art control center and a crack team of Field Elves to ensure everything goes smoothly. Except when it doesn't, that is.
In Aardman Animation's family animated adventure, the North Pole manages to overlook a child on the list... a slip-up that Santa's youngest son, Arthur (James McAvoy), believes would spoil the magic. To save Christmas, he sets off on a mission to ensure that the kid in question still gets their present before Christmas morning in this feel-good, funny family adventure.

'Jingle All the Way' (1996)
Say what you want about the wild swings in tone or just the overall quality of "Jingle All the Way," but Howard Langston's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) last-minute shopping trip has been a holiday staple for many viewers (myself included) for decades.
I'm not saying this is the best-made Christmas movie you can stream this December, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't look forward to watching Howard embark on his chaotic quest to bag the hottest toy of the season — a Turbo Man action figure — every year. Funny, silly, and still manages to pack in some Arnie action (and one-liners); it's a blast.

'Tokyo Godfathers' (2003)
I'll close out this list with another critically acclaimed animated feature: Satoshi Kon's 2003 anime feature, "Tokyo Godfathers".
The movie recounts the tale of a dysfunctional found family of three homeless people — Gin (Toru Emori), Hana (Yoshiaki Umegaki), and Miyuki (Aya Okamoto) — living on the streets of Tokyo. On Christmas Eve, the trio's lives take a turn when, while searching for food, they come across a newborn baby girl who's been abandoned at a garbage dump. Together, they eventually agree to try and reunite the infant with her parents in this moving, festive adventure.

If it’s in the theaters or available to stream somewhere, he’s probably watched it… especially if it has a dragon in it. Before joining the team, he was a Staff Writer at What To Watch where he wrote about a broad range of shows that stretched from "Doctor Who" and "The Witcher" to "Bridgerton" and "Love Island". When he’s not watching the next must-see movie or show, he’s probably still in front of a screen playing massive RPGs, reading, spending a fortune on TCGs, or watching the NFL.
