With its signature blend of secrecy and suspense, scenic Scottish backdrops, silly missions and sartorial excellence (we're looking at you, Alan Cumming!), "The Traitors" has been a reality-show phenomenon stateside and across the pond.

The Emmy-winning franchise just wrapped up its fourth installment of "The Traitors US" with yet another motley crew of reality TV stars coming together in that castle of deceit to blindside and backstab their way to a hefty prize pot and television glory. Now that it's over, you might be wondering what TV competition you should tune into next to fill that "Traitors"-shaped hole in your heart.

This year's "The Traitors US" cast includes two members of the larger "Love Island" universe: former contestant-turned-host Maura Higgins and the snake-wrangling heartthrob Rob Rausch (who appeared on the fifth and sixth seasons of "Love Island USA).

And there's a reason that producers have tapped into the Peacock dating show to secure "The Traitors" talent, despite the latter show not being known for its romantic storylines: "Love Island" features high-stakes social strategy, with its cast of sexy singletons tasked with coupling up with a fellow "Islander" — whether that be for purely romantic reasons or simply for survival in the game — to win over the hearts of America and a $100,000 cash prize. Powered with steamy tension, love triangles and plenty of heartbreak, its dating-meets-deception concept makes for seriously juicy television.

'The Real Housewives' franchise

Season after season, "The Traitors" gets some of its most powerful personalities — and most ruthless villains — by pulling from the iconic women that make up Bravo's "The Real Housewives" franchise. This season of "The Traitors US" alone features a fierce quintet of "Housewives" moving into Alan's castle: Lisa Rinna ("RHOBH"), Candiace Dillard Bassett ("RHOP"), Dorinda Medley ("RHONY"), Caroline Stanbury ("RHODubai"), and Porsha Williams ("RHOA").

And though, historically, the "Real Housewives" doesn't feature the same kind of physical challenges or overt gameplay of reality TV competitions — unless, you know, you count dodging thrown wine glasses and getting into cat fights during luxury trips as "challenges" — the long-running franchise has enough brutal betrayals, bombshell surprises and big fashion swings to make even Alan Cumming himself blush.

'Deal or No Deal Island'

A more immersive and intense offshoot of the original "Deal or No Deal" game show, this tropical spinoff follows a group of 13 contestants as they're marooned on a private island in Panama overseen by the enigmatic "Banker." The players must then compete in high-stakes physical and mental challenges across the lush setting to retrieve hidden briefcases containing varying cash values, all for the chance to take home up to $200 million total in prize money.

Hosted by Joe Manganiello, "Deal or No Deal Island" upgrades its predecessor with its emphasis on season-long social play, with contestants having to navigate not only those strenuous challenges but also alliances, showmances and general duplicity throughout.
