You don't need AirPods Pro 3 — these are my 5 favorite earbuds under $100 with ANC, EQs, 40+ hour battery life, and more
I love these budget earbuds, and so will you
The best earbuds don't have to be expensive. As one of Tom's Guide's resident earbuds reviewers, I've tested my fair share of earbuds, ranging from $300 Denon PerL Pro to $20 JLab Go Pods ANC.
To help you figure out which budget earbuds are actually worth your money, I've compiled my personal five favorites under $100. I've got recommendations for detail lovers and those who need live translation; recommendations for 2008-coded Skullcandy earbuds; and recommendations for AirPods Pro 3 dupes with Scandi-tuned specialist EQs.
Don't scroll Amazon for hours and hours trying to discern between identical-looking cheap earbuds! These five options offer great performance at a reasonable price.
When I was first researching the JLab Go Pods ANC, I couldn't believe how affordable they were — and now they're even cheaper. JLab has knocked $16 off the MSRP of these fantastic earbuds. With a customized EQ in the JLab app, you can get rich, punchy bass and surprisingly clear vocals. Of course, there's also decent ANC and 26 hours of battery. For $20, this is unreal.

If you've got tiny ears, or you want the most discreet earbuds on the market, it's gotta be the JLab JBuds Mini. These earbuds are seriously minuscule. For just $33, I wouldn't be surprised if they sounded horrible, but you'll be pleased to know these earbuds sound great. I was really surprised during my testing — I couldn't believe such good sound was coming from tiny cheap earbuds. There's no ANC and you only get 20 hours of battery, but at just 3 grams per earbud, they're extremely light and comfortable.

The CMF Buds 2 Pro are some of my favorite earbuds in the world — especially at this price. With a specialist EQ — Dirac Opteo — you can get genuinely premium sound, with expansive mids and deep bass. On top of surprisingly high-quality sound, you get 43 hours of battery, a range of custom EQ settings, and even some light AI integration.

I love the EarFun Air Pro 4+. When I first tested these earbuds, I couldn't believe how cheap they were. For $79, you get two drivers for incredible detail and dynamic bass, live translation in the EarFun app, great ANC, and a whopping 42 hours of battery life.

The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC are the most 2008-coded earbuds I've ever tested — the charging case can even be attached to your belt loops or backpack. On top of 11 hours of battery in the earbuds, you get 29 hours in the charging case, and fantastic, bassy sound. You can customize EQs in the Skullcandy app, too. They're not as cheap as some of the others on the list, but these are genuinely some of my favorite sub-$100 earbuds on the market right now.
