7. Storage Configuration

Storage space is made available to the users on the network through folders. Here, a folder is nothing more than a simple network share that has the entire available storage space at its disposal. It takes user privileges into account, either through LDAP or the integrated user account administration facility.


There are two simple options for new folders. Should users be able to read from the folder? If not, then files can only be written, but no longer read and accessed later (by certain users). The second option offers full access to all users.
