When deleting files the all-or-nothing principle applies. In other words you can either delete the scanner's entire memory or nothing at all. It's not possible to delete files selectively.

All or nothing: You can't delete files selectively.

The second application goes by the name of Paperport 8.0 SE. It administers the scanned documents. The data can also be simply dragged and dropped from the Paperport 8.0 SE user interface for editing in other applications such as Outlook, Excel, Photoshop, an FTP program or Word.

The integrated OCR function in Paperport SE is also useful. With it a previously scanned text document opened in WinWord can be automatically converted more or less error-free into an editable text.

Clicking the files in Paperport opens the Paperport Viewer, which offers simple functions for post-editing and saving your files in various formats like Jpeg, Tiff or even PNG.
