As part of our testing, we created a flyer, a booklet brochure and an 8.5 x 11 letter with the Click2mail service to see how they’d turn out.

For both the letter and the flyer as the screenshots clearly indicate, the GearDigest logo shows on the display in color. However, the actual prints that were received had the logo in black and white. On closer examination, we had actually selected black and white for the print option so it shouldn’t have been a surprise. That said, it would have been nice if the display had reverted to color or had shown a black-and-white logo in the first place. Also, the margins were totally off (that is, the top and left margins were way too small). Surely, this is something that could have been caught on the online editing screen, but again it’s not as obvious as it really should be.

Click2mail includes a ready-made brochure template, which we used for testing purposes. It’s all laid out and just needs proper text and it’s good to go. It really is that easy. There were no surprises on the final outcome of the brochure. Color and text are the same as they are on screen.
Pricing for the Click2Mail products varies widely depending on the options chosen for the particular piece. There is a $2 minimum production charge, though, which does make it somewhat less efficient for individual pieces rather than items which you intend to send to more than one recipient.
