3. Inside: Complex Cooling System And High-Grade RAM

You can get a good look at the individual components and the complex yet filigreed cooling system by removing the keyboard. The processor is cooled by two heatpipes, the GPU has its own heatpipe. A regulated radial fan directs the warm air out of the casing.

On the top left is the WLAN (red ellipse); to its right is the RAM module. The processor is hidden underneath the heatpipe system in the ZIF socket (red rectangle).

While the GPU is cooled by a heatpipe (lower red ellipse), the Northbridge (upper red ellipse) gets by without cooling.
