7. Game Console

The Gmini 400 also serves as a game console. It's compatible with titles developed with Mophun, a library of games for cell phones. Archos has adapted some existing titles to make use of its player's larger, better-performing display. The games are 2D and not yet quite fully realized graphically. One or two games, however, like IceBox Plus and Space Box 3D, display numerous colors and an isometric 3D view that wouldn't look out of place on a Game Boy Color.

The 2D processing and display possibilities are sufficient for games with passable graphics quality, and can be displayed on the player's screen or on a TV. For the time being, they're the usual games found on PDAs or cell phones.
