World famous theoretical physicist is getting well soon

Earlier this week, a "very ill" Stephen Hawking was urgently taken to a hospital in Cambridge.

Hawking is reported to have been ill for a couple of weeks, with his condition worsening since his return from the U.S. last weekend. He has previously been treated for pneumonia and it is believed that his current illness is related to chest infection.

The official website of Professor S.W. Hawking reported at around noon UK time that the famed physicist was doing well.

“Professor Hawking is being kept in for observation at Addenbrooke's hospital this morning. He is comfortable and his family is looking forward to him making a full recovery,” the site update read.

Stephen Hawking, currently 67, holds the post of Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University.

I think you're thinking Einstein, Hawking's all tied up in strings.

Oh wow 67? I think I read somewhere that he was told he wouldn't live long.

He has ALS (Lou Gehrig's), he is one of the longest living people with it.

Good to hear he's back up, figuratively, let's hope he lives to 100.

Brilliant and on his way to recovery he may be, but his teeth don't exactly look healthy.

They probably just partitioned some space on his Chair and installed the latest Windows 7 build. That should keep him stable.

Until final release.
