Samsung To Ship 21 Million Flat Panel TVs In 08
Samsung Electronics was the top ranked LCD TV vendor worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2007, accounting for 19-20% of the global LCD TV market, and ranked second in the global PDP TV market, taking a 20% share of the market (Matsushita topped the list), according to DisplaySearch. Samsung also expects to ship 21 million flat panel TVs worldwide in 2008, which would account for about 19% of the global flat panel TV market.
