The little remote control only has a big button for the volume, an on/off push button and a headphone jack. For the rest, the bass level is adjusted on the subwoofer itself (at the back), not exactly practical. We can't say that the Z3 is extremely well designed.
For the satellites, Logitech has gone for the same solution as some bigger models: a centrally-arched broadband loudspeaker. It looks good but you can't help thinking that the small size of the transducer diminishes its qualities. The subwoofer has a loudspeaker measuring some twenty centimeters, and a metal grille with a closed rear load products it. Doubts about such design are legitimate.
